Designed and built by award winning Architect and wine maker, Barry Moss, it is gorgeous inside and out. Decks overlook the river, forest and mountain farms. A path leads down to the river beach. You are sure to be comfortable in this spacious and unique space that is nestled in beautiful farmland at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains. 10 min to SNP! Sunrises over the fields and orchards behind and sunsets over the mountains in front of you create a magical and memorable experience. This log structure used to be a tobacco drying barn inthat was then converted to a cabin residence and has recently been thoughtfully renovated

Charming log cabin nestled in a glen by the Shenandoah National Park is an ideal retreat for a romantic get-a-way. The first floor contains a beautiful kitchen, dining area, full bathroom featuring a whirlpool tub, and cozy living room with a wood burning fire place. The second level holds the bedroom with a comfortable king size bed and a half bathroom. There are two porches where guests can relax with their morning coffee or evening cocktails while enjoying the wooded and mountain views.

We are 30 minutes from Charlottesville or Harrisonburg with lots of historical sites and caverns. If a quiet stay is your preference, enjoy the fireplace on the deck and star gaze, hear owls calling.
