When you arrive at host's apartment, all guests will introduce each other while eating host's ready-made sausage that we are going to make that day. After few minuts of ice breaking, you will be introduced to ingridences of diverse sausages and how to mix & use them. Under the guidance of host, you will expereince slicing the meat and filling the sliced meat into the intestines. The best part is twisting the filled sausage with thread and get rid of air bubbles with niddle. 2~3 people will become a group and proceed the sausage making because treating the filling machine needs coorporation. After making sausage, we are going to have a chat time and have some beer party for an another hour. Also, you will get a pack of sausage that you make that day so you can share it with your family or friends at home.

We are Yong Jun and Ji Yun, have lived in the US for 8 years and now live in Seoul. While working as a financial analyst during the week days, I(JiYun) am running a home-made sausage class with co-host Yong Jun(Airbnb id: kimy88@vt.edu) at my apartment. Yong Jun has worked as a cook for 4 years in Virginia restaurant called 622 North, specializing in meat processing parts. For 4 years, he mastered in Italian Sausage, Chorizo and even Salami. Now, he is under process of launching his own meat deli in Korea while working as a main instructor of our sausage class We successfully initiated our class in July with 7 guests through the platform called “Naamezip” and this event is going to be a regular session. The satisfaction rate of our event is 4.6/5.0 which is the second highest ranked among the other sessions in the platform.

We will open this class in my apartment in Keumho. This apartment is very easy to find since it is only 2 min walk distance from Singeumho station (line 5) and close to dongdaemun. If you are a tourist, you will have chance to visit a typical Korean local's apartment. It is very cozy and modern place, which will bring you the sense of having a home party with local Korean friends.
