This is a large two-family home with spacious rooms. It is within walking distance to amenities, shops, transportation by train into Boston, and restaurants. It is conveniently located just off highways 95 and 93.
My home is not a hotel. It is lived in and well loved. As such you will find personal items which give it a true home-away-from-home feel. I am a very reasonable host and am not worried about the occasional broken glass, but there will be charges for missing linen, towels, or damage to the property.
Most of my guests have been absolutely delightful, the rules I have put in place are to protect me from the rare guest who tries to take advantage of my hospitality or who thinks they can treat my home badly.
You will have access to the main house through a private entrance. There is a separate apartment with its own entrance for my tenant. The main house has three bedrooms, an eat-in kitchen, living room, library and two renovated bathrooms. There is also off-street parking in a driveway.
I will make every effort to greet you when you arrive. If you arrive in the evening I will make sure that a key is accessible. I am available 24/7 for any questions you may have or problems that might come up.

I have provided some basic groceries to see you through your first morning. All linens and towels are provided and will be accounted for upon checkout. I would ask that you bring the garbage out to the bin when you leave. Garbage day is on Thursday. Please put the blue bin out on the curb in the morning.
ALL GUESTS MUST READ AND AGREE TO THESE RULES PRIOR TO BOOKING
I will ask that the primary booker list the names and ages of the people who will be staying in my home. My home sleeps six people (three beds) comfortably. There should never be more than six people sleeping on the property. No third-party rentals. You book. You rent.
A RESTFUL PLACE
I have a tenant who lives in a separate apartment. I also want to ensure that I keep my good relationship with my neighbours as this is a residential neighbourhood. Please be respectful of noise levels. No loud noises after 10 p.m. Absolutely no parties.
I have indicated that the house is child friendly, but please be advised that there are open staircases. Also, my home is not childproofed. There are uncovered electrical plugs and sharp edges. Children should not be left unaccompanied in my home.
There is no smoking in my home. This rule will be strictly enforced. Any evidence of smoking will result in additional cleaning charges.
PLEASE THROW OUT THE GARBAGE
Garbage day is on Thursday. Please put the blue bin on the curb in the morning. Upon check out, please remove all garbage and put in the outside bin (located in driveway).
A shovel and salt are available for you to clear the snow. You are responsible for clearing the snow from the front stairs and driveway (if you are using a car). The driveway will be cleared before your arrival.
LINENS AND TOWELS
I will leave plenty of bed linens, dish towels and bath towels for your use. An inventory is conducted after check out. Guests will be charged if any of the above items go missing.
You may adjust the thermostats on the second and third floor to your comfort level (between 69 and 75 degrees). Please lower the heat to 60 degrees upon check out. Please do not adjust the thermostat on the first floor.
Window units are installed in all bedrooms and in the living room for the summer months (June - August). If you are leaving the house for any length of time, please turn the units off to save energy.
