Relax in the woods at this middle of nowhere location for our Mongolian Ger (yurt)! Are you up for a back to basic experience full of candlelight, birdsongs, dirt roads and a smoking hot fireplace? The round space and unique structure are peaceful and serene. Kilo's of sheepskin keep the Ger cool in summer and warm in winter. With renting out the Ger I'm gathering funds to support projects that support Mongolian nomads. Enjoy the woods and this special home and contribute to cleaner steppes!
The Ger is one single round space where everything happens. There is a bed, couch, kitchen supplies and the fireplace. The bed is made and there are towels. We can make up the couch for a third person, extra guests are welcome to camp next to the Ger.
Since we don't permanently live in the Ger the whole place is yours. There is a small toilet house outside and a waterpoint. Quite back to basic!
The Ger is placed on a nature-camping, this means that it is legal to camp in these woods. The estate is quit big, and only has dirt roads, it can be a bumpy ride coming up to the Ger!
If you're quit certain which time you'll arrive, I'll be there to give you the key and get you settled in. If you're not, don't worry, I'll make sure you have the key and you can come in your own time.

Growing up in Arnhem made me fall in love with the Veluwe. So even after traveling the world studying Cultural Anthropology, to me it is still the most beautiful place to live. I explore it daily with my border collie Pip and warmblood gelding Zen.
During my travels trough Mongolia I came up with the plan of creating the perfect nature- getaway; combining my love for Mongolian culture and beloved Veluwe. Right now I'm a free lancer who is also working hard to turn my cosy Mongolian Yurt into a true five-star worthy palace.
