Andrew's 3 bedroom, 2 bath West End home was a great for our group of friends. We travelled from Texas to attend a wedding in Massapequa, but all pre- and post-wedding activities took place a mile from the home, so that lead to our decision to rent in the West End area. Andrew's home made a great home base for our group and we were quite comfortable.
This quaint abode was clean and tastefully decorated in a cottage-coastal theme. I loved it!!
Very nice living and dining furniture! The bedrooms were furnished with brand-new beds, dressers, and bedding. One of the three bedrooms has a closet, but both of the larger bedrooms have large dressers so clothing storage wasn't a problem. The smaller, third bedroom doesn't have a dresser, but my husband and I slept in that room and we didn't care about that. It does however have its own private en suite, which is always a really nice convenience and more important for us to feel at home, which is the main reason why we chose to stay in that bedroom. The kitchen had tons of storage and well-equipped with everything (appliances, utensils, spices, etc.) you would need. The house also has a washer and dryer - again a really nice amenity.
I wish we had more time and the weather had been nicer because it was such a great location, close to the beach (within a short walking distance if I remember correctly)! If we are ever in the area again, I would definitely reserve Andrew's home again and take advantage of the location to the beach. The neighborhood was quiet, and seemed family-friendly. Also within walking distance were delis, a mini-mart, a pizza parlor and other restaurants, making it a very convenient spot. If you aren't familiar with the area and need advice on transportation (train routes, travel time, etc.) as was the case for us, Andrew is very helpful in that aspect as well.
Thank you so much Andrew for your hospitality!!
Rent this home - you won't be disappointed!!
