Pine Haven is a small campground on Devil Lake. We have 4 clean 2-bedroom cottages for your summer vacation; our newest cottage is wheel-chair accessible with your support person. We have tent & serviced trailer sites as well. We welcome you and see!
We are located in a lush alluvial valley on the shore of Devil Lake. Ancient granite ridges, typical of “shield country” are on the east and west sides of our valley. We are in the Frontenac Arch Biosphere a UNESCO World Biosphere -- this means our whole area is world renowned for spectacular scenery and biodiversity, up to a billion years in making.
Devil Lake is a larger lake; 2600 acres with many islands and 36 miles of shoreline to explore. It is well known for its wonderful scenery and deep, spring-fed waters. Our lake trout, bass, and pike fishing have attracted anglers for decades. Numerous other lakes are a short drive away.
Each cottage has a well-equipped kitchen, 3-piece bath, deck, propane BBQ (propane provided) and a private fire pit. The cottages are nicely spaced and all have a view of the beach. Each cottage has everyday kitchen utensils and appliances (refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker, silverware, dishes and cookware); clean, safe hot and cold running water, showers and flush toilets. The extra items you need to bring are towels and linens for a queen and/or double beds & cot. Each cottage sleeps up to 6 people. The wheelchair accessible has a wheel-in shower and 2 queen size beds. This cottage also has a gentle walk to the beach.
Family owned and operated since 1965, Cliff and Terry Ward are the second generation of the family to own Pine Haven, during the summer it will be managed by Rick and Anne. We have a reputation as a clean, comfortable, quiet family holiday destination and we hope you will spend some vacation time with us at Pine Haven this spring, summer or fall! We rent kayaks, boats and motors as well.

No Smoking inside the cottage. Manager onsite. No big parties allowed.
Pine Haven has been in my husband's family since 1965. We purchased the cottages and campground in 2005. Devil Lake is a beautiful lake. We both love the active outdoor lifestyle that owning a campground provides for us. In my spare time I garden, knit and we go boating. In the winter we enjoy snowmobiling and ice fishing.
