The Estate Office, as the name suggests, was formerly the office from which the Middleton Estate farming, forestry and sawmill works were managed.
It has taken us two years to renovate the property. A new biomass boiler supplies central heating and lashings of hot water.
The large lounge and dining spaces has a TV, a DVD player and a selection of DVDs, board games and books.
The kitchen is well equipped with a double oven and microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge and a freezer.
Bedroom 1 is very spacious having a king sized sleigh bed and en-suite.
Bedroom 2 has a double bed.
Bedroom 3 has 2 single beds.
There is a family shower room.
The bedrooms all look onto the mill race which runs through our land.
We share this country idyll with a plethora of wildlife; we regularly see red squirrels, kingfishers, deer, buzzards and pheasants
There is wi-fi throughout the property.
We are half way between Edinburgh to the north and Newcastle to the south. A wealth of beautiful beaches are within a 10 to 15 minute drive.
Due to the proximity to open water we only accept families with children aged 12 years and over.
Guests have access to an outdoor seating area at the front of the property and are welcome to explore our beautiful woodland. There is a open water running through the woodland so young children must be supervised.
We live in the property next door so are at hand if you have any queries.
