With each trullo having two bedrooms and two shower rooms the luxury trulli are ideal for families and groups, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay. Puglia is Italy’s largest olive oil producing region with olive trees in every garden it is easy to see why.
Every town has a market day selling locally produced goods from fresh fruit and veg, to clothes and shoes, a bargain to be found by all. The sun in July and August can be very strong, but with the weather being pleasant from May through to October there is plenty of time to explore this beautiful region. The beautiful town of Martina Franca with its historic centre has an abundance for Bars and Restaurants to choose from. Sit in the large main piazza and watch the local Italians go about their daily routine.
Close to Alberobello is a town made up with over a thousand “trulli”, a small cylindrical building that peasants built hundreds of years ago to avoid paying taxes, now a popular tourist attraction.
