Cycle Mania is visible and walking distance from our home. They rent bicycles and there is easy access to the Portland Trail system that links you to many of the great places in the area. You can store bikes in the basement for long term rentals. See guidebook for more details.
House rules- This is an owner occupied building and we are a fairly quiet bunch.
-We don't party where we live, that's why we live in Portland so we can play in one of the best small cities in the USA, but keep our home as our sanctuary! Remember, when returning from being out on the town, quiet in the neighborhood... Not everyone is on vacation.
-Shoes off please. There is a shoe rack by the door.
-There is no smoking in the building. If you do smoke outside, please be mindful of our neighborhood and don't litter your butts.
-Parking is available on the street. The space in front of the house is for two cars, please don't park in the middle of it and take up both.
-No parties or events. An occasional visitor is permitted.
-No pets permitted.
-Children must be 13 or older. We are not set up to accommodate children under that age.
We live right upstairs from the rental. Kate works full time as a nurse practitioner. Kim left the health care field a few years ago in search for something new and exciting. Renovating and managing the rental as well as landscaping, painting and an assortment of things that come up are filling that goal. We spend a good portion of our free time volunteering for local non-profits in the area. We both grew up in California and have been her now over 20 years. We have fallen in love with Maine and all it has to offer. We spend our free time hiking, biking or out enjoying Portland.
