Easy bus access to 2 huge Westfield shopping malls (approximately 20 mins trip) to Eastgardens or Bondi Junction. It is about 20 minutes drive from the airport. Close proximity to the Maroubra to Bondi coastal walk (Trip Advisor's No. 2 attraction in Sydney).
Convenience stores for groceries just 5 minutes walk. 5 minutes drive to a major shopping centre with Supermarkets, Aldi, grocers, butchers, hair dressers etc. A local park with kiddies playground is at the end of this street (1 minutes walk). 5 minutes walk to tennis courts and bowling greens and bowling club for dinner if required.
There are 3 excellent cafes and a bakery within walking distance from the house, to enjoy the famous "Australian" coffee and breakfasts, pastries or lunches. One cafe has fabulous views of the ocean and absolutely delicious food (The Pool Cafe, Maroubra)
The main lounge room offers 2 lounges and a chair, a dining room table that seats 8, and a flat screen TV (110 x 70cm) offering Apple TV and Netflix as well as many digital channels with surround sound. There is a DVD player and hi fi system in this room.
There is a separate living space in the kitchen area, providing a table which seats 4, plus 2 bench chairs for seating at the kitchen benchtop, and a lounge. There is a BOSE speaker system with Bluetooth so you can play your favourite music streamed from your smartphone or other Bluetooth device. This area has another TV which also plays DVDs. From the kitchen and family room space you can look out to the tropical, private garden. There is a goldfish pond with trickling waterfall in the rear garden.
The garden is great for outdoor entertaining and has an outdoor table that seats 8, a new Turbo BBQ with unlimited gas, as it is connected to the gas mains, and a market umbrella for the summer months. The whole home has just been fitted with brand new cream luxury, wool carpet in the lounge area and all of upstairs including the bedrooms.
There is one main bathroom with a spa bath and shower, plus a smaller ensuite off the main bedroom with a shower and great water pressure. There is also an extra shower and toilet downstairs in the laundry area that can be used anytime or after visiting the beach.
The house is very comfortable and decorated with quality furniture. In the Winter months there is plenty of sun on the front, covered veranda and in the front garden. The upstairs bedrooms that face north are light and sunny even in the Winter months. There are views of the city skyline from 3 of the upstairs bedrooms. 2 of the bedrooms also have TVs. The TV in the main bedroom is a smart TV which offers connection to the internet such as Netflix, You Tube etc. The other bedroom facing south has a view of the private garden at the rear of the house.
This home is in a very safe neighbourhood and a lovely quiet street with friendly neighbours.
The house has plenty of windows and French doors which provide natural light, and the bedrooms upstairs are flooded with natural light even during Winter. The main lounge area has views over the front garden to the street and also through to the private rear tropical garden with tiny waterfall and goldfish pond. There are large wardrobes in each room with hangers and room to store your luggage. There is plenty of free and unlimited parking on the street and you also have parking in the driveway of the house.
It is easy to access the famous coastal walk from Maroubra to Bondi (spectacular views).
Beds will be made up and all linen and towels are provided including 9 beach towels.
Fully equipped kitchen with crockery, cutlery, utensils, cookware, microwave, oven, kettle, toaster, serving platters/salad bowls for entertaining. Herbs and spices provided.
There is a washer, dryer, ironing board and iron. And an area to fold your laundry. There is also an upstairs drying area in the study.
- Electricity, gas, local phone calls from the house phone, gardener, lawn man are all included. Weekly cleaning service is available for an extra cost.
There is a brand new gas BBQ with unlimited gas on tap. DVD player and many DVDs to watch in the main lounge or kitchen area.
A few board games are supplied. There is a phone which can be used to make local or emergency calls.
It is 5 minutes drive to Maroubra and Coogee beaches or just 15 minutes walk to Maroubra Beach and the beautiful Mahon ocean pool with excellent Pool Cafe opposite. (Highly recommended for breakfast or lunch) 5 minutes drive to Coogee's famous Wiley's Baths where you can enjoy lap swimming or a relaxing day by an ocean pool. Just 5 mins walk takes you to bus stops where there are regular buses to Coogee, Bondi Junction and the centre of Sydney. The bus from the next street takes about 40 minutes to reach Circular Quay. It is 5 minutes walk to the bus stops.
It is only 20-30 minutes drive from the Airport (depending on the time of day and traffic). It's about 20 minutes drive to the iconic Bondi Beach.
You will have full access to the whole house except for 2 rooms which will be locked and the garage which will also be locked. You have full use of the rear garden which is very private and has a brand new BBQ with constant gas supply. There is a park with kiddies playground and play equipment at the end of this quiet cul-de-sac (2 mins walk)
There are tennis courts for hire within 5 minutes walk and a bowling green (if you like a game of bowls), that also serves good meals and reasonably priced drinks at night next to the tennis courts.
Regular buses to Circular Quay, Bondi Junction, Eastgardens, Maroubra and Coogee Beaches.
Access to coastal walk from Maroubra to Bondi is only 15 mins walk away or a 5 minute drive.

2 of the TVs are connected to the internet offering Netflix, YouTube etc. One in the main lounge room and one in the main bedroom.
Just a 3 minute walk away is a quaint park just 2 minutes walk at the end of this quiet cul-de-sac street with a playground for children with swings etc. There is also a bowling green and tennis courts within 5 minutes walk. You can hire racquets to play tennis. There is a large environmental park just 10 minutes walk from the house where you can observe native birds in ponds, and take a stroll through the parklands. A very pleasant walk.
It is possible to walk to "The Spot" through the environmental park. The Spot is a hub of trendy bars, restaurants and cafes and there is also a lovely movie theatre The Ritz cinema there. ($12 to see a movie). It's about a 15-20 minute walk from the house. A taxi or Uber fare would be around $7 - $10 to The Spot, or drive there in 5 minutes. It's definitely worth a visit.
Please treat our home with care and respect. Keep noise to a minimum because we love our neighbours. No smoking inside the house. If you wish to smoke, please do so outdoors. No fake tan to be applied here, it stains carpets, sheets and towels and is very difficult to remove. No parties or events. This property is not suitable for small children due to an unfenced goldfish pond. No pets permitted. If you choose to use the BBQ you must also clean it after each use. Failure to clean the BBQ will incur a $200 extra cleaning charge in addition to the regular cleaning fee.
