This Double and Single room, only 20-25 minutes walk from the centre of town and the bus stop, is the perfect base to explore Lovely Listowel and the rest of North Kerry.
Guests are very welcome to make use of the living room, kitchen and garden (weather permitting) during their stay. Just did a huge job improving the garden so it's really nice now!
I usually work in the evenings so quite often you will have the house to yourself.
I will be very happy to have a cup of tea and a chat with you, and to offer you tips and recommendations of things to see and do in the area, if you like.
But if you would rather be left to your own devices I am fine with that.

I have two bicycles that are available for guests to borrow to more easily access the town and to make the most of their stay.
Please respect my neighbours and keep noise outside to a minimum after 10pm to avoid disturbing them.
I'm a fun loving, adventurous sort of person. I have been on Airbnb for several years now and the people I have met through it have made it a very worthwhile experience.
I've been living in Listowel for nearly five years, and can give good advice on things to see and do in the area. If you like walking, or hiking I'm slowly compiling a list of nice strolls to venture on in the area, and if you like I can tell you where they are. If you chance upon a trail that I haven't found yet, please let me know!
Things I like include meeting new people, adventure racing, reading, drama and watersports. I also like Geocaching, if you've heard of it...
I love travelling, and have spent some time in Japan and Greece among other places. I am trying to expand my horizons in book reading, and now try to fit in a biography or classic between the fiction or sci-fi that I am guilty of enjoying. Recent reads are Che Guevara's Reminiscences of the Cuban Revolutionary War and M.R. Carey's The Girl With All The Gifts. So it varies.
I like comedies, action, sci-fi. The odd animated film.
The most recent show that I enjoyed was Sense8 on Netflix, although I try not to get involved in new shows any more as I tend to have difficulty stopping at one or two or even six episodes. It makes for a long night.
Foodwise, I like almost anything, but I try to stay healthy.
When I'm travelling I am laid back and go with the flow. Much the same when I host. I try to treat everyone with respect and keep an open mind.
I studied French in Uni, it might be a bit rusty now, but I can hold a conversation. I have been studying Japanese for two years, but I am still not very good (I don't study as hard as I should). But I will happily try to chat if you're willing!
I regularly travel with Airbnb, and it is now the first thing I look for when I am planning my holidays.
