The Haroun house was conveniently located in a lively part of Bethlehem near stores, shops, and some famous landmarks. The house itself is located at the bottom of a steep hill in a quiet residential neighborhood housing many families.
The house is pretty basic as mentioned in the listing. We purchased our own toiletries (shampoos, toilet paper, towels, tissues, etc.) The kitchen is equipped with a stove top attached to a gas cylinder. No microwave or oven as mentioned. Small sized refrigerator and utensils are limited to a couple of cups and plates. Bring your own items if you plan on cooking as the cupboards are not stocked with the basics (pots, pans, seasonings, cooking oil, coffee, sugar, etc.)
Only issues we had was that the bed wasn't the most comfortable for a couple (as it consisted of 2 twin sized mattresses placed side to side) and the shower is really small with weak water pressure.
Nevertheless, Elias was very accommodating to our requests and did his best to make our stay as comfortable and easy as possible. He picked up his phone always and was readily available to assist us. It was a great house for the amount of money we paid and I recommend it to anyone who is planning a short stay in Bethlehem.
