These people behaved like little kids who dropped their candy and were just waiting to throw their toys out of the cot at the slightest of situations. They found fault in everything and were offensive instead of communicative. I would have provided a number of options to meet their needs including moving them to a beautiful penthouse 100m away or a total refund if they had approached their problems in an appropriate manner. My apartment is an older apartment, and does a few minor cosmetic issues and as such I made the price as low as possible to be fair (i.e. approx $35, R495). However, the apartment is a massive 160sqm apartment, it has 3 bedrooms (although the third bedroom I leave as a study for business travelers to work and the other rooms have two brand new queen size beds). The main bedroom has a massive LED TV, the study has monitor to connect your laptop to for better ergonomics, there was fast uncapped internet, a massive living room a new microwave, oven, washing machine, all kitchen appliances). Furthermore, the apartment is located in the one of the most central, safe and affluent locations in Johannesburg. It is between the three most prestigious malls in the country, it is walking distance to a golf course, country club, restaurants etc. I have had many travelers from all different professions stay there and all have been satisfied, or where an issue was raised I immediately acted on it and they remained satisfied.
