This is a wonderfully comfortable Medieval house, with oak beams, wrap-around garden and masses of history, in one of England's finest villages, complete with two Tudor stately homes. The double bedroom is bright and sunny with lovely views from both windows and it's own private bathroom. The cost of the room includes breakfast in the beautiful beamed dining room. There are walks, scenery, pubs, fine dining, entertainment, culture and history.
The house is Grade II listed and was built in the late 14th century. It sits well back from the road, in a beautiful garden which wraps around it. Extensive restoration began around 40 years ago when the floors were lowered to create higher ceilings, more windows were put in to give a very light and airy interior and it was extended to give more space for a big kitchen, an entrance hall and the sunny guest bedroom.
The guest bedroom has a double bed, TV with DVD player, fluffy white robes, tea and coffee making facilities and it's own private bathroom which is next door. The price includes breakfast on each morning of your stay.
You will have breakfast in the spacious, oak beamed dining room and on a warm day, you are welcome to use any part of the garden to relax in. We only have one sitting room but if you would like the of use it at any time during your stay, just let me know.
You are also welcome to use laundry facilities if you need them.
You can be as private as you wish in the house and can come and go as you please. I will always be available throughout your stay if you need help with anything.

No smoking in the house but you can smoke in the garden as long as you dispose of the ends in the outside bin.
