Our house is close to the city center, museums, nightlife, parks, and public transport. It is a well-preserved, large, and beautiful 1921 house full of crazy antiques. Also, a private porch just for the guests! Our home is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers, and dogs. Cats are not welcome, just because I don't want them to skirmish with our dogs.
We also have more than 50 books about Detroit which you may enjoy.
Our house may be used for photo shoots, but only after we know your plans. This may entail additional expenses, based on the amount of time you'd like to use the entire house, and how many people will be involved.
We welcome you into our entire home. We have a large, gated and locked driveway where you can safely park your car.
My husband and I work from the home, so are available just about any time. We love the history of Detroit, and its current state of affairs, and are happy to answer any questions.

We would appreciate a confirmation of your arrival time approximately an hour before, just because we have had many guests arrive much later than they predicted, and the uncertainty stops us from being able to schedule the rest of our day. Thanks!
We love to be as flexible as possible. To make sure we don't have new guests arriving while others are still here, please let us know as soon as possible approximately when you wish to arrive and depart.
My husband Robert and myself are antique dealers. We would love to share our house full of antiques with you. We have three Boston terriers who are very friendly. They do not spend any time in the room we have available to rent.
We owned restaurants for 21 years. We love to talk about business, politics, science, history, art, music . . . anything!, but are also just fine with showing you the room and keeping to ourselves if that is your preference.
