Odofo was a good host and left the house very clean and we were thankful to him. Odofo comments are coming 2 weeks after he left the place and are in contrast with all past comments. Here is our version of the facts:
-Odofo benefited the instant booking and informed us he is coming at night time 8PM
-Then we had no news from him until 10PM when we received a Uber taxi call. Meanwhile we have left the apt and returned in our home, not far away.
-We later understood that Odofo traveled from abroad and has no French local number nor any wifi access to notice us he will be late than announced.
-We rushed to the place in less than 10mn to give him access to the apartment.
-Odofo is probably angry because he came and checked in with 2 other adults, full of luggages whereas he booked only for two. We let them all in because it was too late and made sure the following morning over the phone that he has to correct the situation, the apt is for two, not for 3 adults and he has to comply with. Odofo eventually told us that the 3rd guest has gone and we believed his words.
-Odofo has mitigated his comment about the cleanliness of the apartment by saying in the private message to the platform that only the bathroom was not clean. We apologize for this. We will double our efforts to check and cross-check that we have the place perfect as usual and as normally it should be.
As a conclusion:
-Ask guest if they are able to communicate at any time, especially when they are foreign visitors without local number
-Keep on working to have the place as perfect as could be expected by guests
