Perfectly suited for driving commuters who are looking for a quick stay & do NOT need laundry or kitchen accommodations. Travelers can re-energize overnight on the 3rd floor bedroom of our humble townhouse. Remodeled in 2015. The master bath on the floor is shared (with me & my husband).
**Winter time is hereeee so shower may be lukewarm due to our overworked water heater**
We are not near the airport that is in South Seattle. We're in North Seattle.
A modest single bedroom with a 9 inch memory foam mattress. The bed is a queen & fits 2 adults comfortably. There is a corner desk, a chair, a lamp, a mini fridge and assorted snacks are included with your room. The room has vaulted ceilings, an outdoor deck, and generous closet space. The bedroom is on the 3rd floor so stairs are unavoidable.
The master bathroom is SHARED. The bathroom is just slightly down the hall from your bedroom and connected to our room directly in a Jack & Jill set up. We have well stocked toiletries on the counter and in the drawers. The master bathroom has a tub, two sinks, and the 'loo' is partition off in a smaller room. The bathroom has locks on every door.
The main living room is open to all guests who stay with us.
*No driveway parking.
We have a dedicated numeric keypad lock. Come on in and directly up to the 3rd floor. My dog will bark to let me know we have visitors.
Corner Desk & Chair.
Menus and travel books.
Snacks & Refreshments.
Full Length Mirror.
Bath Towels & Blankets.
Floss & Toothpaste.
Shampoo & Body Wash.
Scented Room Spray.
We are just down the hall & the bathroom is shared. We don't bite :). I would definitely say we are on the more reserved side. We respect your privacy and will be more hands-off unless directed otherwise.
Grace (our pup) will be surprised and alarmed by strangers. There will be some gruff barking. She is very shy but completely friendly, bonus if you have food!

+ We adopted a 2 year old Shepherd name Grace. She is a shy & cautious dog. She is FRIENDLY but will bark loudly when you enter.
She is trained in all basic commands such as sit, down, drop it, stay, come etc. She is medium sized, jet black.
+ Our faithful water heater works *overtime* during winter months supplying heat throughout the house. The shower might not be to your desired hot temperature (depending on how cold the weather is and who is showering in the other bathroom).
Keep that in mind BEFORE you book that this is not a hotel but a home shared with others so if someone else is using the shower before or during that means reduced hot water for everyone.
Apologies in advance!
+ Our purpose and design for this listing was meant for the quick OVERNIGHT commuters looking to crash and need NO laundry or kitchen access.
+ I will not go into your room to refill snacks or tidy up during the duration of your stay.
+ Early check in is possible. Please message me with a specific date and time first.
+ The driveway is reserved for our downstairs guests. Check out our other listing for driveway parking! :)
+ To new AirBnBer: this is not a hotel. The rules are different, the laws are different. We are a family home that just happen to have a room open. That's pretty much it! :D
+ Do NOT park directly near the house. Don't take up parking spots on houses on either side of us. There is lots of parking around the neighborhood, just further away yes. I'm a host, I do not control the parking for the neighbourhood shared by others.
+ Remove your shoes and leave them in the foyer - then swiftly come upstairs to the 2nd floor living room and then onto the 3rd floor to get to your bedroom.
+ Check out is at 10AM. For a later check out, be sure to confirm with me first.
+ NO driveway parking! There is almost always street parking around our neighbourhood. Check 143rd St, near the corner church.
+ There is only a single towel bar in the bathroom and it's all yours.
+ No smoking AT ALL on the property!
+ Grace SHEDS. I can't control 100% where her fur goes. She follows everywhere too, like during my cleaning rounds. If there's a short black hair in the laundered goods, that's her gift.
+ Our purpose and design for this listing was meant for the overnight commuters looking to crash & save some money.
+ Do not request for laundry or kitchen.
+ Message me or text me even if I'm in my room. Sometimes I have my headphones on while working so I cannot hear ya. :)

Hello, I'm Lily. I am a 26 year old sushi & kitfo (Ethiopian style meat) junkie living in Seattle. My husband works in one of those tall buildings downtown. I am a money & finance writer at the The Frugal Gene.
We all share our wonderful life with our adopted dog, Grace.
I was born in the early 90s – making me, yup, a millennial. I was born in a barren seaside village on the coast of Southern Asia. I immigrated to the United States in 2000 with my mother and father.
We found all our mattresses on the side of the road in the outer quadrant of San Francisco. We found every television set we have ever owned on that same road side. We jumped from relative to relative who were kind enough to offer us their home until we could stand on our feet in America. SO yeah, the whole AirBnB concept is pretty cool to me!
My parents and I cooks a lot. You might smell the churn of exotic spices that conjure up in the kitchen. We can binge watch American Dad, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and Food Network anytime, anywhere. I enjoy reading about personal & behavioral finance.
Ummm, what else, oh OK - I am not an avid writer and I would like to apologize to my 5th grade teacher for not working on my grammar like I promised.
