Welcome to the land of Altai Tavan-Bogd National Park!
Hello, my name is Pyerizat. I run a tour company that operates from March through October. I provide translation and cultural explanation, my husband is a very experienced driver, and we have a cook and a horse caretaker in our service. Our company is family owned and run and we make sure you feel like a part of our family.
My family and I live in a small town called Tsengel throughout most of the year but in the summer we have another house (Ger/Yurt) close to the Chinese border. We have several housing arrangements in Ulgii and the countryside for tourists to stay in during the summer. Our favorite house for tourists to stay in is a ger next to my family ger near the Chinese border. This allows tourists a unique opportunity to see how a Kazakh family does daily chores and activities and we encourage tourists to participate in a herder's lifestyle.
Our tours are focused on the interests of the tourists who come to visit. We want your time here in Mongolia to be unique and unforgettable, so we go above and beyond to create a once in a life time experience. We have many different activities to participate in and places to visit:
Live like a Kazakh herdsman. Milking horses and cows, herding yaks, goats and sheep, eating naturally dried curds, and drinking fermented mares milk.
Journey through Bayan-Ulgii by Russian Van.
Travel by horse and camel to the base camp of Tavan-Bogd, see the Potanian Glacier, and the highest mountain in Mongolia and Altai's Five Peaks.
Find petroglyphs and Turkic stones along the way to new destinations.
See "Shiveet Hairhan" sacred mountain, where you can see petroglyphs ( appox 200 B.C ).
Visit and learn from herdsmen and eagle hunters about their culture and nomadic lifestyle.
Trekking ( Anywhere in the Nat'l Park )
Go fishing at Hoton Lake.
Listen to Throat Singers.
Meet a 6th generation eagle hunter who has been participating in this ancient art for 50 years.
Visit the Golden Eagle Festival.
And so much more.
