I chose this place due to its very close proximity to the Blue Wolf travel company. I had arrived a day early for my tour to the Altai Eagle Festival. I only had to walk 5 minutes to Blue Wolf. I suggest to anyone planning a visit to the Altai Eagle or Golden Eagle Festivsl to stay here. It is clean and nicely furnished. It is a much better deal than the hotels in town. Unlike the ger camps, the apartment affords you warmth, private bathroom, hot shower, numerous electrical outlets, stocked kitchen, and lightning-fast WiFi connection. Pyerizat (Pika) can assist you with getting Festival tickets. After the Festival, ask Pika (who also runs a family based tour company) to set you up for overnight stays with a nomadic Eagle Hunter family (in a tent or family ger). You will get a much more intimate experience than at the Festival. Photographers will especially appreciate the opportunities for private photo shoots of the hunter and eagle. Pika can be your English speaking guide and cook your meals (her vegetarian dishes are delicious). Rest assured that Pika will not pressure you in using her company's services when you book your AirBnB apartment.

Welcome to the land of Altai Tavan-Bogd National Park!

Hello, my name is Pyerizat. I run a tour company that operates from March through October. I provide translation and cultural explanation, my husband is a very experienced driver, and we have a cook and a horse caretaker in our service. Our company is family owned and run and we make sure you feel like a part of our family.

My family and I live in a small town called Tsengel throughout most of the year but in the summer we have another house (Ger/Yurt) close to the Chinese border. We have several housing arrangements in Ulgii and the countryside for tourists to stay in during the summer. Our favorite house for tourists to stay in is a ger next to my family ger near the Chinese border. This allows tourists a unique opportunity to see how a Kazakh family does daily chores and activities and we encourage tourists to participate in a herder's lifestyle.

Our tours are focused on the interests of the tourists who come to visit. We want your time here in Mongolia to be unique and unforgettable, so we go above and beyond to create a once in a life time experience. We have many different activities to participate in and places to visit:

Live like a Kazakh herdsman. Milking horses and cows, herding yaks, goats and sheep, eating naturally dried curds, and drinking fermented mares milk.

Journey through Bayan-Ulgii by Russian Van.

Travel by horse and camel to the base camp of Tavan-Bogd, see the Potanian Glacier, and the highest mountain in Mongolia and Altai's Five Peaks.

Find petroglyphs and Turkic stones along the way to new destinations.

See "Shiveet Hairhan" sacred mountain, where you can see petroglyphs ( appox 200 B.C ).

Visit and learn from herdsmen and eagle hunters about their culture and nomadic lifestyle.

Trekking ( Anywhere in the Nat'l Park )

Go fishing at Hoton Lake.

Listen to Throat Singers.

Meet a 6th generation eagle hunter who has been participating in this ancient art for 50 years.

Visit the Golden Eagle Festival.

And so much more.

Please contact if you have any question or want to organize a custom tour.

I love traveling and meeting new people, hope to hear from you soon!
