This room is sunny, bright and clean, with a comfortable bed, fresh linens and an en-suite bathroom. The room is also equipped with a mini fridge, microwave and a Keurig coffee maker. We provide shampoo, conditioner and body wash, a hairdryer, bottled water, a selection of coffee and teas, and oatmeal to get you going in the morning. The door into the host family's area is locked; you will have access to the room from a sliding door on the patio. The home is near Old Folsom and many attractions.
Enjoy a private retreat in our guest room. The room has a queen bed, a dresser should you choose to unpack your clothes, and a comfortable chair to relax or read in. In the walk-in closet, you will find a mini-fridge with bottled water and space for your own food, a microwave, a Keurig coffee maker with a selection of coffees and teas, and instant oatmeal. The closet also contains an iron and plenty of hangers. We have shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower, and a hairdryer tucked under the sink in case you'd like to use it. We can also supply a table and chairs for guests who would like a work space. Please let us know if you need it, and we can have it ready for you.
You'll have access to your room through a sliding glass door on the side patio. We offer self check-in, so you are welcome to come and go at your convenience. The door from your room to the main area of the house is locked, so you will have privacy during your stay. Your room is across the house from our bedrooms, so you will enjoy a quiet night. You will have a parking spot on the driveway, very close to your room.
I am often around, but offer privacy during your stay. I am always reachable via text though; if you need anything just reach out!
Cooking is not allowed. The room does not have kitchen access, and the room itself does not have proper ventilation or drainage to be used as a kitchen. Do not bring a crock pot, rice cooker, hot plate or any other device to use in the room. We provide a microwave so you can warm pre-cooked meals.
Hello! I'm a hairdresser, taking a break from cuts and colors for a few years to focus on raising my two boys. I love to cook, I'm a bit of a history buff, I'm an outdoor enthusiast, and I enjoy exercising and staying healthy. My husband is a financial planner by day and a blues musician by night. He enjoys craft brews, especially the IPAs he has brewed himself. Together we have two sweet little boys, a nearly 3 year old who loves to be funny, and an almost 1 year old who wishes he could walk.
