It is highly regrettable that you were not satisfied with the amenities and services provided for by Guevarra’s Resort (hereinafter referred to as “The Resort” for brevity). However, the points you raised in your feedback are inaccurate to our listing and should not be counted against the resort or the management. Allow me to set straight the claims point by point:
1. No Drinking Water (we have to buy our own late at night).
The water dispenser is not listed in The Resort’s amenities, although it is allowed for use by guests FREE OF CHARGE as goodwill by the management. In addition, the drinking water for the dispenser is also not part of the listing, but is in fact also given FREE OF CHARGE, again in goodwill.
In this instance, there was a problem with the delivery of the water to the resort, and although all measures have been taken to resolve that particular concern, no water service station that we contacted could accommodate our delivery order then. It was then that the caretaker asked the guest-correspondent to buy the water while on the way to the resort.
2. No Bedding (We have to use some bed sheets as ‘kumot’).
Beddings are listed as part of The Resort’s amenities provided and are always available to guests upon check-in. By your own admission, you used “some bed sheets as ‘kumot’,” which follows that beddings were in fact available.
Admittedly, no blankets are provided. However, blankets are not included in our listing, and is therefore unfair to mention that you were not given something that was not promised, or, more accurately, not inclusive of the package.
3. Comfort rooms here are ‘uncomfortable’. Very small even for me (normal height and weight).
There is one comfort room that is standard in size. All the other comfort rooms are, indeed, small, because it was decided to put in place a comfort room for each bedroom. It is important to point, though, that we showed in the photographs that the comfort rooms are small, thus, in confirming a booking to The Resort it is understood that this feature is amenable to guests.
The Resort and its management maintains that it never under-delivers on its promises, and more importantly, everything that is included in the package for renting The Resort. We, from our end, did our best to answer every question accurately in this particular booking, and provide everything that we agreed to provide. The miscommunication in this instance could have been averted if our listing was read carefully. For the part on the drinking water and all the other inconveniences, our humble and sincere apologies to all of you.
