Ingrids Place is amazing! It's just like in the pictures. It's location is great and right by the main attractions of Bergen. We had a wonderful time and Ingrid was an amazing host.

Lovely place, perfect for 4 adults. Check in was smooth and communication with Ingrid was great. The house had everything we could need. It doesn't have curtains however, so bring an eye mask to keep the sun out! We would definitely stay here again!

Our review of Ingrid's Airbnb for our stay from late afternoon June 29 to the morning of July 2, 2017: While this house is located in a scenic and historic location and we were able to meet our needs here, there are some limitations that future visitors need to know. - Taxi from the train & bus stations: our driver had trouble finding the way. It would be nice to know that the closest accessible place by a vehicle is at the bicycle repair shop at #8 Steinkjellergaten. Just across this narrow street is the entry to Steinkjellerkroken. The driver will likely use a GPS navigator and will also have to deal with one-way streets, so not as direct as the walking route. - This is not a place for people with any kind of mobility issues, or who have more than a little luggage with them. Access is up a ~75m long, narrow and steep cobble stoned lane (kroken) from the "main" street, Steinkjellergaten. - The house is on two levels with a very steep, narrow, curved stairway to the upper level from the entry door. There is no entry-way light, as the fixture has been removed. - The toilet/shower room is the first room to be seen. The shower works very well with plenty of water pressure and temperature. 2 towls were provide. A bath mat would be good to have as the floor gets wet and slippery causing inconvenience in drying off and hazard of accident. It seems it is not customary to use face cloths in Norway, but they are nice to have so we donated one of ours. - Arrival: Once we made our way to the 2nd floor sitting room & kitchen -- very nice and homey, and full of books, rustic, antique building features, and eclectically decorated. We expected there would be some information for us about the the house, the wifi, etc., but it was not evident. We were able to call Ingrid on the cell phone, and she gave us the wifi info. Next morning, we actually did find a welcome note that was addressed to previous guests on an inverted note pad used by those guests to write another (URL HIDDEN) Ingrid after their stay. Other guests had also left their comments on this notepad, although only one was dated (5/23/16). The only information about Bergen was a 2016 copy of the Official Tourist guide for Bergen and Region. There were also a few tourist oriented flyers for some individual attractions. When we departed we left a copy of the 2017 guide. We found no other information about this very interesting house. - As charming as it is, this house is really not suitable for people who would not have the ability to figure out how the lighting works. Many lights are connected to plugs by long extension cords. It is just as well they were unplugged (most of them) but it took a bit of detective work to figure out...

We really like the central position of the apartment, because there is just a short walk to Bryggen, to the fish market and to Floyen. Ingrid left us some tips for a perfect stay and welcomed us very friendly.
