Unfortunately we had to ask Jan to leave before the end of the reservation (of course we gave him his money back) as he brought disrespectful guests to our home, used our personal products without even asking, consistently disrespected the house rules (we told him several times and not even about all the times / all the rules he'd break; he'd apologize and promise to follow the rules until he'd do it again like two days later... and again... and again... we were more than tolerant for 3 weeks but there's a limit!), and to make it worse, he took two of our new good quality towels with him when he left. As you can see, even knowing exactly what he did wrong, especially when there's the chat history to prove, he dissimulates and acts like has no clue why "my behavior changed" as if asking him to leave was our fault, not the consequences of his own disrespectful and cynical behavior. He was the only guest we ever had problems with, a big disappointment as we welcomed him with our hearts open and treated him very well. We thought he was lovely and kind, but it's not sincere as we noticed after he showed us his entitled attitude. As I wrote in my review, if you give him an inch, he will claim a mile. We sincerely hope he had learn something from this and that will start to respect others and understand everything and everyone has a limit and it's not wise to force/cross it. Even worse when you're at someone's home. He is very young though, maybe it's just a matter of immaturity and inexperience; he is charismatic and smart, we are sure he can go far if he wants to.
