This cabin will offer you a true Alaskan experience in a convenient location. It's located in a quiet neighborhood in the woods, with kilometers of trails that can be accessed a short walk from the front door. While it feels like you are away in the woods, it is actually located close to the university and is only a short drive to most of the services you would need while staying in Fairbanks.
You will have full access to this cabin.
This is what locals would call a damp cabin, which means there is water for drinking and using in the kitchen, but there is no shower or toilet in the cabin. There is an outhouse for the toilet, and showers are available at a laundromat located minutes away by car. There is everything you need to feel at home including a full kitchen stocked with cookware and dishes for serving. There is also a coffee station with complimentary coffee.
You will have access to the whole cabin, please make yourself at home.
We live in the cabin next door. We enjoy meeting new people and are always up for a chat. I would be happy to talk to you about places to visit while you are in the interior of Alaska. If you want privacy, we understand that too.

My wife and I love to travel and meet new people. We enjoy going to the places less traveled, and are always looking forward to our next trip. We are both in academia, and love to learn about the local customs, language, and geography.
We have lived in Fairbanks, Alaska for a little over a decade and would love to host you while you are exploring the Interior of Alaska.
