We love Snowshoe Mountain for both summer and winter activities. Snowshoe gives you quick and easy access to all kinds of summer fun. Mountain biking, hiking, lake activities, kids camps, yoga, golf and more. Enjoy everything we have to offer!

❖ The 2-bedrooms have 2 queen-sized beds
❖ The living room has 1 sofa bed

Living room:
❖ The living room brings a cosy vibe for your relaxation. It compliments a white painted colour with hanging picture frames. For your leisure, we have a pull-out sofa bed and couch chair. Your entertainment options include flat-screen wall-mounted Smart TV. You can use your Netflix and Amazon Prime accounts to play your favourite shows and play direct TV channels. The unit has its WI-FI CONNECTION for entertainment or remote working.

Upgraded kitchen & dining:
❖ The kitchen has a telephone for easy access to phone calls if your cell phone doesn't work (Only AT&T and T-Mobile get signal on the mountain). It comes fully equipped with a stove/oven (full-sized), microwave oven, two-door refrigerator, dishwasher, regular coffee maker, toaster, crockpot, pots, and pans to test your culinary skills.

Two bedrooms:
❖ Master bedroom – It is very spacious and equipped with a queen-sized bed and has a walk-in closet. The room is very well updated with classic hanging picture frames and ceiling fans to keep you softened, wall-mounted TV for your entertainment, classy lampshades for lighting, and an end table for storing your items.
❖ First bedroom – Relax and comfort yourself with a spacious and ventilated bedroom. This bedroom has 2 full beds, with brand new mattresses, and can sleep up to 4 guests. Modern look with centre nightstand where you can plug in your electronics for charging. Classic hanging picture frames and ceiling fan inside to keep you cosy, wall-mounted Smart TV for your Netflix/Amazon (You must use your accounts) entertainment. Dresser to store your things and keep you organized.

Two bathrooms:
❖ Clean, tidy, and spacious bathroom to pamper and clean yourself.

Book these condos for groups, family gatherings, or weddings. The ball hooter lift and bunny slopes are right outside the back door. Sleep comfortably up to 6 guests with 2 queen-sized beds and 1 sofa bed. Parking lot side condo – easy to load in and out.

Mountain Lodge renovation:
❖ Mountain Lodge exterior is now brand new and looks great. Welcome to the new and improved Mountain Lodge. We will be adding balconies in the next phase of the project in 2021-22. Mountain Lodge (the building you are staying in) has a full-time housekeeping and maintenance staff, as well a front desk that is manned 24X7 during the winter season. If you require assistance or experience a problem during your stay, please go to the front desk at Mountain Lodge and they will be able to assist you.

Our properties accommodate up to 4 guests for 1-Bedroom and 6-8 guests for 2-Bedrooms. For each guest over 3 guests for 1-Bedroom and 5 guests for 2-Bedrooms, the listing shall incur an extra guest fee of $10/night/person. We will send you an additional payment request for the extra guest fees once validated. If you DO NOT COMPLY with letting us know the number of guests, then there will be a $50 charge PER PERSON PER NIGHT.

COVID-19 Ready Guest Protocol at Mountain Lodge (Subject to change)

❖ Guests are required to bring comforter/blankets, coffee filters, toiletries, kitchen condiments including salt, pepper etc. Please note that no coffee filters are provided.
❖ Only necessary linens including towels, pillows, bedsheets and dishwasher soap powder will be provided. There will only be one unwrapped roll of toilet paper provided per bathroom (can get extra from the front desk if needed) and one unwrapped roll of kitchen towel in the kitchen.
❖ Guests are asked to practice social distancing and asked to wear masks at all times while in common areas.
❖ Guests may only ride the elevator one person at a time unless they are sharing a reservation.
❖ We have added vinyl pillow covers to each pillow so that they are easier to disinfect upon checkout. We have also put plastic remote covers on remotes for easier disinfecting. Please note that these are not to be removed.
❖ We will be placing a soiled linen bag in each bedroom with instructions for the guest to strip their bed and place linens in a marked bag.
❖ Please check, double-check and triple-check the condo before checking out to make sure that you have packed up all personal belongings because we are no longer allowed to keep lost and found to help reduce cross-contamination.
❖ All rooms will be cleaned using supplies that meet CDC requirements.
❖ The front desk will continually disinfect all room keys, along with the front desk area.
❖ NO LAST-MINUTE RESERVATIONS. Housekeeping must have time to prepare rooms for COVID-19.

Note: Kindly disregard the trash bags under the bed. These are stored CLEAN & SANITIZED blankets and comforters in compliance with the building management for COVID-19 safety protocols.

General guidance:
❖ Please check openings of third party activities as this is continually changing based on season and COVID-19 requirements. We only provide lodging and discount our rates when the resort is not in a full season. We do not guarantee any third party activities and do not offer any refunds for non-availability or closure of third party activities. You can purchase the best travel insurance from us to protect your lodging investment.
❖ Lodging will be available daily (all week). To help facilitate social distancing measures, certain areas of the resort will use capacity management.

Housekeeping inclusion:
❖ Linens, towels, kitchen towel, trash bags, toilet paper and bar soap (Please plan to bring your shampoo and other toiletries).
❖ You can bring your ski equipment in the room, but NO BIKES ARE ALLOWED IN THE BUILDING AND PROPERTY. A $300 fine if violated.
❖ CHECK-IN TIME STARTS AT 5:00 PM. House Cleaning staff needs ample time to prepare the unit so that it is clean for you upon your arrival. PLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE EARLIER THAN THE CHECK-IN TIME.
❖ CHECK-OUT TIME IS BY 11:00 AM. WE DO NOT OFFER LATE CHECK-OUTS. Someone else may be checking into the condo the same day you are checking out. As such, the housekeeping staff needs every minute possible to prepare the unit for that next guest.
❖ BOOKINGS ARE STRICTLY NON-REFUNDABLE 24 HOURS AFTER THE RESERVATION HAS BEEN MADE. Keeping in mind our guests need, we have designed one of the best cancellation policy. You can book with us and purchase travel/trip insurance.

PETS, BIKES, AND SMOKING ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED. THERE WOULD BE A $300 FINE FOR VIOLATION.

Can I bring a pet?
❖ Mountain Lodge has a strict “no pets” policy that is rigidly enforced. You may not bring a pet. Pets are not permitted in any unit or upon any common element of Mountain Lodge Association property, by any party. $300 punitive fine will be imposed if pets are detected inside the building. Having said that, service animals are allowed within Mountain Lodge. Please be prepared to register the pet during check-in at the front desk with paperwork. You may not leave the pet alone in the room during your stay.

Can I bring my bike inside the Mountain Lodge or condo?
❖ Bikes are not permitted inside of the condos or the Mountain Lodge building. There are bike lockers for rent on the first floor. Please visit the Mountain Lodge front desk to check rates and availability. Recent rates have been a refundable deposit of $20 and $15 rental lockers fee each day. There is a $300 punitive fine that will be imposed if bikes are detected inside of the condos or building.

Can I smoke inside the Mountain Lodge or condo?
❖ Smoking is prohibited inside of the condos or the Mountain Lodge building. There is a $300 punitive fine that will be imposed if smoke is detected inside of the condos or building. If you must smoke, please plan to go outside the building for smoking.

What are the options for trip insurance?
❖ 10% of your total booking after taxes and fees. This will allow you to cancel your booking with a full refund within 14 days prior to our arrival. NO QUESTIONS ASKED.
❖ 15% of the total booking after taxes and fees. Same policies are above but this will include coverage for the accidental damage waiver. We offer damage waiver insurance which is $49 for one-bedroom and $69 for two-bedroom.

Cleaning fee discount:
❖ Unfortunately, cleaning fees and taxes are not determined by us. We have to pay cleaning fees even when we check-in. In the COVID-19 environment, the fees are going up because we have to take extra steps to ensure the safety of our guests. Safety of our guests is most important to us. We are taking extra steps to keep the rooms disinfected and safe. So, cleaning fees are going to go up in short term. Sometimes we offer room nights really cheap. However, this doesn't allow us to discount fees and taxes.

Do you offer a military discount?
❖ We appreciate all those who serve (or have served) our country. However, we are unable to offer a military discount at this time. We offer discounts to our repeat guests. If you have stayed with us in the past, we may be able to help you save by booking directly on our website.

Request for pricing discount:
❖ As a policy, we do not encourage discounts. We price our homes very competitively. We offer great quality homes at market prices. We do not intend to be the cheapest in the market. This will impact the quality of our accommodations and service to our guests. Currently, the pricing is the best I can offer. We have 20 condos in the same building with great locations and quality. We are the only private renter who offers free hot tub and pool. It is $15/day/person.

Can I get into the parking lot early?
❖ Unfortunately, no. The parking lot has limited space and cannot accommodate both the guests that are already checked in, as well as guests that will be checking in later that day. Additionally, it becomes near impossible to plough the parking lot during heavy snows when the lot is congested. Your best bet is to park at Top of the World (free) if you plan to ski/ride during the day, then come over to Mountain Lodge for your 5:00 PM check-in.

Is parking free?
❖ Yes, Mountain Lodge is one of the only building on the mountain which allows free parking to its guests. Free parking is only available after 5:00 PM on the day of your check-in. You will be provided 1 free parking pass per bedroom so 1 free parking pass for 1-bedroom condo and 2 free parking passes for 2-bedrooms. If you have additional vehicles, you will need to park across the street in the general parking area.

Do fun activities, restaurants and stores open a day?
❖ PLEASE NOTE THAT WE DO NOT PROVIDE ANY THIRD PARTY ACTIVITIES. THIS WILL KEEP CHANGING SO PLEASE DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH. Mountain activities are closed from Monday to Wednesday. Our nightly rates are discounted to reflect this. You can do hiking, nature walks, sunsets and sunrise on the mountain and go to nearby activities which include fishing, green bank national radio astronomy observatory, Cass scenic railroad state park and droop mountain battlefield. You can get more details on our website. The village will be open Thursday-Sunday for dining, retail, and outdoor adventure operations. This includes full-service Spa at Snowshoe. Lodging will be available daily (all week). To help facilitate distancing measures, certain areas of the resort will use capacity management this summer season This includes the Snowshoe Bike Park, Outdoor Adventure Tours, Fun Pass offerings.

How far are you from slopes?
❖ We are ski-in/ski-out building. When you walk out of the back door of our building you will be next to Ballhooter lift and further and right next to it are the bunny slopes.

How do I access the swimming pool and hot tub?
❖ You can access the Split Rocks Pools swimming pool and hot tub by paying a usage fee. This is a 3rd party owned property and is not included in your rental. The great news is that it is just outside the Mountain Lodge parking lot and is a convenient walk. It has a pool and two hot tubs. Just like any great swimming hole, Split Rocks Pools is as fun for the adults as it is for the kids. They will splash around the indoor/outdoor heated swimming area zipping down the slide and making new friends, while you relax in the sauna and hot tub and take in the gorgeous views. It is a win-win, the perfect place to play and unwind all at the same time. Adults pay $15 per person/per day for this access. Kids under 6 are complimentary.

Do the pool and hot tubs are open?
❖ Yes. Pool and hot tubs are open on July 2nd but have a limited person. The lake is still accessible but they will not be having their inflatables out on the lake this year

How do we get to the slopes/bike trails?
❖ Go to the elevator and take it down to the first floor. Walk past the front desk, then around to the left into the atrium. Over towards your right, there is an exit sign. The walkout that door and you are ready to ski/snowboard! This is also where the ski/bike lockers are located. If you are interested in renting a locker (additional fee), please visit the front desk.

Where to go when you visit?
❖ The Route 66/Why Not Shop at the bottom of the Mountain is across the street from the Inn at Snowshoe. They have a great selection of knick-knacks. It is a fabulous place to pick up Snowshoe souvenirs or a unique gift. Plus, they have fudge. Need we say more?
❖ The Fiddlehead and/or Elk River are two of our favourite restaurants in the Snowshoe area.

Where can we pick up some groceries?
❖ Wildcat Provisions is just outside the Mountain Lodge a few minutes walk. Please check hours of operation. With a variety of groceries, sundries, and more, Wildcat Provisions is your one-stop-shop for anything you may have forgotten to bring to the mountain. Along with grocery items, Wildcat offers hot coffee, breakfast sandwiches, specialty lunches and the largest beer cave on the mountain.

Which restaurants should I visit?
❖ Please check our website for restaurants in the area. There is always something new coming on the mountain. Please make sure to check with restaurants about their opening days and hours.

Does the unit have air conditioning?
❖ Most units in Mountain Lodge DO NOT have air conditioning. You can cool the unit(s) down by propping open the front door and slightly opening the balcony door. All units have ceiling fans and box fans. The unit(s) tend to cool down nicely in the evenings.

Details about portable air conditioning:
❖ Mountain Lodge doesn't have central air conditioning. For the convenience of our guests, we provide portable ACs that we installed in the living room. It helps to provide extra comfort to our guests. Guests can keep themselves comfortable by using AC, sans, cracking windows open, and opening patio doors.

What do I do If I am feeling hot?
If you are feeling hot, please follow the following steps:
❖ Please turn on your portable AC. Stay cool all summer long with portable air conditioner. This will be installed in the living room and helps bring down the temperature of the condo when it gets hot. The unit may also have dehumidifier function to remove moisture from the air for increased comfort, and a built-in fan.
❖ In your bedroom, open the window and put the box fan in the window.
❖ In the living room, open the window and the patio door and put the box fan so that that is air circulation.

How do we control the heat?
❖ Mountain Lodge tends to be a warm and cosy building. The best way to cool down the condo is to prop open the door or open the sliding glass doors for a bit. To adjust the temperature on the living room thermostat, press and hold either the up or down arrows to your desired setting.

What items are provided?
❖ Towels, bed sheet, pillow covers, bathroom mat, kitchen towels, toilet paper (1 per bathroom – you can get extra from the front desk), dishwasher soap, bar soap, trash bags are provided.

What items should I bring with me?
❖ You must bring your toiletries including shampoos, conditioning, body wash etc, coffee, coffee filters, dish soaps and condiments including salt, pepper, and cooking oil. During COVID restrictions, please bring your own comforter/blanket since those are not provided.

Can we have a BBQ/barbecue in the unit or do you have any kind of grill in your unit?
❖ Condos do not have any grill and there is no outside grilling facility available at Mountain Lodge. You can use the electric oven for cooking.

Does the condo have a crockpot?
❖ Some units do. Some do not. However, we tend to see the crockpots disappear. To be on the safe side, you should bring your own if you plan to cook with a crock-pot.

Do you have coffee pots and coffee filters?
❖ Yes, we do have 8-12 cups coffee makers but due to pandemic, the management was not able to provide the coffee filter. You should bring your own coffee filters.

Do we need to bring sheets (linens) and towels?
❖ Sheets and towels will be provided for you. Please note, however, that there is no daily maid service to replace towels, linens, etc. If during your stay, you need replacement towels/linens they will be available for purchase at the front desk.

Dish-washing, towels, garbage, coffee, etc:
❖ Granular dishwasher soap, kitchen towels, paper towels, toilet paper, and garbage bags will be provided during your stay. Please only use the granular packets (provided) of dish-washing soap in the dishwashers. LIQUID DISH DETERGENT IS NOT PROVIDED. Also, note that no dish-washing sponges are provided. You may also want to bring your own shampoo, conditioner and lotion as they will not be provided.

Dishes are mostly in the dishwasher:
❖ This is because the previous guests during check out process put the dishes in the dishwasher for cleaning. It takes a few hours for dishes to clean and dry. Housekeeping does not get enough time to put them back in kitchen cabinets. Therefore, please look for clean dishes in the dishwasher and don’t forget to put them for cleaning as part of check out process for the next guest.

Is Wi-Fi internet access provided?
❖ Yes, compliments of City Net. Look for network=” Mountain Lodge” and then enter password= 3045720xxx (xxx is your room number). Sometimes the network in one room doesn’t get a strong signal, you can look up another room’s Wi-Fi and connect your device using the password associated with that room number.

Can I work remotely from my condo in Mountain Lodge?
❖ Mountain Lodge condos have their own private WI-FI, and you can use it to work remotely.  You can even connect your computer to the TV through HDMI cable if you are looking for an extra monitor.

Will my cellphone work in this condo?
❖ Because of the national quiet zone, only AT&T and T-Mobile subscribers get signal on parts of the mountain. You can use Wi-Fi calling for your cell phone to make and receive phone calls. Each condo has its own house phone which can be used to make and receive local and long-distance calls. The condo phone no. is 304-572-0xxx (where xxx is the Room number of your condo). You may also use that phone to dial 911 in the event of an emergency.

Using the fold-out sleeper sofa:
❖ After opening up the foldout couch, look for a bar closest to the back cushions. It’s called a “TV Headrest” bar. Pull it upwards. This will make the foldout couch MUCH MORE COMFORTABLE. Please make sure to return the TV headrest to the closed position before folding up the couch. Failure to do so can result in permanent damage to the couch. Extra blankets and pillows are located in the bedroom closet. Sheets will be left near the sofa. If you are a light sleeper. Security guards do keep a close eye on the building especially to monitor noise levels during quiet hours. However, you will hear people coming and going from early morning or night skiing and typically they are wearing ski boots. Since it is pretty hard to tip-toe in ski boots, you may want to bring a pair of earplugs along with you. Also, if this unit is slope-facing, there may be some noise from the groomers working their magic at night (Winter only). Again, you may want to bring a pair of earplugs along with you.

Is it possible to deliver a package in the unit?
❖ Yes, you can receive the package but please note that we only allow it while you are staying in the unit. The best address to use is Mountain Lodge, 10 Snowshoe Drive, Snowshoe WV, 26209 and YOU MUST PUT YOUR NAME AND ROOM NUMBER on there or the package will go to Snowshoe Central Receiving.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
❖ Please be advised that we only accept last minute bookings until 2:00 PM as this will give us enough time to prepare the unit for an enjoyable stay and adhere to COVID-19 safety guidelines. Please note that we do not have any control over activities on the mountain. We only provide accommodations. Please contact Snowshoe Mountain or third parties to find out details of the activities. Our reservations are non-refundable but you can purchase insurance to protect your vacation. Please also read the description on our listing. Snowshoe is great for a summer vacation as it has tons of activities at competitive rates! There are zip lines, scenic lift rides, hiking, picnics, golfing, mountain biking, and adventure dining. At Shaver’s Lake, you can go canoeing, kayaking, and swimming!

Our condos are in Mountain Lodge, which is right by the village and completely ski-in, ski-out, great views and are close to the village restaurants and dining. You can walk to the village in a few minutes. You can choose from 25 condos: nine 1-bedroom units, and sixteen 2-bedroom units.
