Firstly I’d like to apologize as I can tell that you felt that I disrupted your visit and falsely accused you of something. Let me assure you, I in no way intended to accuse you of anything, I just didn’t know why I couldn’t find one of the trash cans. I’m so sorry! When you let me know that someone in your group put it inside of another trashcan, I assumed you understood of course this was not a big deal whatsoever.
I also do want to say that my stopping in on two occasions was to take out the trash during your stay which she would not do because the trash cans are located in a locked away section of my house. And yes, the other two interruptions are completely unusual because I had been traveling for work out of town for almost a week and was about to travel again out of town for another week. I want to apologize for the disruption and assured my future guests that this is not common whatsoever. I do think it is appropriate to let future guests know that I will never come into the house without their approval as was the case for your visit. I hope that you will consider staying with me again and we can certainly do a better job of communicating during your visit to make sure everything is as you like.
