We had checked in with Mohamed regularly, to ask how his stay was going and what we could do to make it more comfortable and every single time his response was "Everything's fine. No issues at all". So when he posted this review, it was a complete surprise to us so I reached out to him to get more clarification.
Here's what he said verbatim in his texts: "...overall the stay was very great. I wasn't sure about the smell as I think it was also coming from outside - neighbor's BBQ'ing etc. The noise was a problem occasionally. Yes, I did not think to ask about a table.......The space itself is fine. It really isn't small. ... would be good to move the bed, orient it to make more room for a table."
There is a coffee table and two very comfortable sofa chairs in the room. We figured that the coffee table could be used for other purposes such as eating, working etc. but based on his feedback we've adjusted the furniture and looking to add a small table and chairs for eating, etc.
The room is a comfortable 325 sq. ft. Not sure there's anything else I can add re: size. We had clearly indicated about laundry and non-vegetarian cooking (microwaving and reheating is OK) in the airbnb post.
We wish we had known these issues during his stay and as and when they happened so we could have addressed those issues right away and made his stay more comfortable. (Would be my request all future guests anywhere to please give immediate feedback and examples to your hosts so they can do something about it. And there's no reason for you to 'suffer' through those issues because as hosts we want you to have the best possible stay and experience).
