Originally a substantial workshop and five bay cart lodge, The Old Foundry has been sympathetically converted into a spectacular space. The owners have retained the original character of the building, whilst finishing it to an exceptionally high and exacting standard. Some of the key features include a handmade Henry Gordon-Jones kitchen, two sophisticated bathroom suites and, of course, the sheltered veranda, accessed through sliding doors and overlooking your own private, south-facing expanse of garden.
On entering The Old Foundry you come into a tastefully decorated, vaulted reception hall/second sitting room with large working fireplace. This leads through double doors into the drawing room where 3 sets of large sliding doors open out onto the veranda with its own outside furniture and garden. Beyond, there is large kitchen/breakfast room, master bedroom with en suite, further double bedroom and a shower room.
The private expanse of garden is laid to lawn and bordered by mature hedging. There is parking for two cars directly outside the front door.
The Old Foundry is on one floor with large spacious rooms, exposed beams, oak flooring all the way through and underfloor heating.
