My name is Amanda and I've just taken over the management of the Timberland Lodge. I really appreciate your feedback and upon taking over the rental, I've already changed the language of the listing and I've addressed many of the issues that you mentioned above. There has been some grading work done on the road already and there are plans to have more done over the next few weeks so the home is more easily accessible. Our contractors got behind schedule in regards to the remodeling in the basement and that is also on track to be completed in August. I've gone ahead and rearranged the kitchen to guests aren't relying on the (very high) shelves in the cabinet! I realized the settings on the dishwasher are a bit confusing and it turns out you choose your setting and then press start before closing the door! These instructions are now available upon arrival, the dishwasher is brand new and besides myself and 2 parties, no one has used it and I agree, it is a confusing one! Now there is a bear proof trash can, which has fixed the trash issue, I do apologize that this was not in place during your stay, I completely understand the frustration and mess! Unfortunately, our well pump needed to be replaced as your stay came to a conclusion. Fortunately, that has now happened. Again, I greatly appreciate your honesty and your feedback. I've taken it to heart and have been making strides to address all issues and concerns to better the experience of those staying at the lodge.
