Southern Comfort is a gem of a home with two floors, multiple outdoor decks with phenomenal views, and modern conveniences.
A mostly flat, spacious driveway is just two small steps down from the front entrance. Inside, a half-bathroom is tucked away just behind the front door. Across from this is a large, airy kitchen, complete with high-end appliances, lots of counter space, a wine fridge, a breakfast bar with two stools, and table with four chairs around it by the opening to the home's only south-facing deck.
This space opens up to a large living room and an additional dining area, with another table and seating for six. Vaulted ceilings, a huge fireplace, a flat screen TV, and wood floors add to the roomy, comfortable ambiance of this entire floor.
Out on the large deck, you will have a hard time believing the sweeping, majestic view of Sierra Blanca isn't, in fact, a giant painting. It is easily one of the best views in town. Enough said.
Back inside on the main floor, the large master suite features a king-size bed, access to the main upper deck, and a roomy bathroom complete with a huge bath tub, a fully enclosed shower, marble floors, a walk-in closet, and two scalloped sinks at the vanity.
Heading down the stairs, guests are sure to notice the enormous picture window overhead (yep, another great view!). The lower level features an additional living room, a large flat-screen TV, a fireplace, and its own deck, outside.
This level also contains two more bedrooms. The back bedroom has yet another private deck with amazing views, as well as a king-size bed and a flat screen TV. The front bedroom has a four-poster Tempurpedic queen bed, closet, flat screen TV, and a big north-facing window. These two bedrooms share a full bathroom in the hallway.
Additional amenities at this luxury home include a garage with a ping pong table, a video game console downstairs, and ample windows and overhead skylights that afford plenty of natural light, and a dedicated laundry room with a modern washer-dryer set.
Please remember that Ruidoso is a mountain town with snow and icy conditions during the winter. This can affect driving and parking conditions regardless of the property, driveway, or roads. We strongly recommend four-wheel drive and/or chains during the winter months.
