I hope your next experience with Air BNB is a better one.
I apologize for missing the rug under the bed. It must have been kicked back when my daughter and I were making the bed. It is white like the towels so I understand the confusion. The second rug was probably the one I place when I thought I had forgotten the first one as the floors, including under the bed were swept and mopped prior to your arrival.
As for making the bed, I am slightly confused, you mentioned the blankets were dirty but I emailed you prior to your arrival stating your top blanket was in the dryer and that I would attend to it as soon as I returned. The bed was messed up as we started to make it and decided to finish it once the top blanket was dry.
I apologize for not having it completed prior to your arrival, life got in the way. Which is why I emailed you, before your arrival, so you would be aware. My daughter had a last minute doctor appointment that I needed to attend.
It is my goal to give each of my guests the best stay possible as I am sure is true for every host.
