Tegan and her fiancee left a lot of trash in their five night stay. It was my assumption the left behind items ( next to their garbage pile) was trash. I had bagged everything up for garbage removal. Once Tegan notified of the left behind items, I simply told her they were bagged up and I would gladly place them out my door for her pick up. They advised their cat was declawed, however their cat left claw marks on my arm chair. We were more than accommodating for them as they wished to extend two more nights, they were well advised we are a family of five. My place was extended to them spotless, we were courteous about or level of noise. 3 star rating is a bit offensive given the lengths we went for them :) They arrived an hour early and assumed an extended check out. Due to my schedule and next guest, I couldn't extend a later check out. If I can, I will always try and work with my guest. Unfortunately, this time I couldn't make it work. I love being an Airbnb hostess and take great pride in my home. I go above and beyond for my guests, however there are times where my attempts go unnoticed for entitlement purposes, and I can't help that. My place is great, I'm one of the few who allow pets, and my kids are well trained to ask if we have guests...... I'm sorry Tegan felt at $73 a night we dropped the ball for her. Alicia .
