Riverstone Cottage is a quiet and tranqil cottage situated opposite the entrance to Springbrook National Park and just a short 400mt walk to Purlingbrook Falls. You can enjoy the many bushwalks in the area or just relax at the cottage.
Riverstone Cottage was built from true round river stone gathered from the banks of the Nerang River, when materials were scarce and austerity was the only way of life. A humble, simple home which sheltered the body and nurtured the soul, is now the perfect place to remember a better time.
Owned originally by a garden loving grandma who planted out the lawns with bulbs and lovingly planted Camilias, Gardenias, Michelias, Hydrangeas and May Hedge to complement the tall Liquid Ambers and Gums. Today it is an established garden which brings joy to all who play within it's vistas and stroll upon it's lawns. Here native plants happily florish with the gardens of your grandmothers day, and it is the blending of the two that brings peace to all our senses.
In these throw away times we need to know not all is lost and destroyed by our consumer phase, somethings that have been protected and loved everyday are here for us all to enjoy.
