This uncomplicated lakefront camp offers all the comforts of home, including a spacious eat-in kitchen and an island, a renovated bathroom on the first floor, a 16-foot dock, and a dog-friendly attitude. Whether you want to spend your time fishing on Friends Lake or sunbathing on the waterfront deck, this house is the perfect backdrop. It is located in a very secluded setting, nestled into the hillside and with plenty of room (inside and out!) to enjoy each other's company or to take a slice of time to relax on your own. Enjoy the deck at the water's edge, or head up to the L-shaped screen-enclosed porch just off of the living room.

*This is a quiet lake. Neighbors are particularly sensitive to loud noises. Many will immediately call the state police if guests are loud or intrusive. Please respect these neighbors.
**Please note that there is no public boat launch on Friend's Lake and no boat launch at this location. You are not allowed to bring your own boats to this lake. This includes kayaks, canoes, and other small personal watercraft.
Trash service is not available at this property. This property is located in an area administered by the Adirondack Park Commission. As with many remote homes in the Adirondack Park, this is a carry-in, carry-out location. Please take trash to the Chestertown Landfill/Transfer Station at 62 Landon Hill Road, Chestertown NY 12817 - 518-494-3952. We recommend calling early in your stay to find out fees and open days.

Parking Notes: There is room to park 3 vehicles. One can be parked in the driveway, and two can be parked in spots at the top of the driveway adjacent to the tree house. Note that there is no room to turn around in the driveway. Please do not park in the turn around area next door. Note that the driveway is fairly steep and often covered with pine needles.
