Reputedly the oldest house in Durban-Corbieres, this home has been lovingly restored to its medieval character as part of the 12th century chateau. You will revel in the stunning views of the Pyrenees, local vineyards and the attractive rural town.
This is an exceptionally comfortable home; perfect for relaxing after a day's walk in the stunning scenery. The well appointed kitchen forms part of an open plan living area where there is a feature fireplace and armchairs, and a dining area benefitting from a window with spectacular views. There are magnificent views of the surrounding hills with excellent walking trails to the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean.
There is a dedicated car park for the church and Rue de l'Eglise.
At the front of the house there is a quiet pedestrian area - ideal for sitting out enjoying a glass of wine, a meal and savouring the fresh air.
You will be met by Monika, a delightful resident of Durban-Corbieres who speaks fluent German, French and English.

My house in Corbieres is mediaeval & I have tried to reflect the history of the space. I love walking & travelling, journeying to mountains & in particular the Pyrennees. Although I might not be at the house much of the time, it will be looked after by local friends Brigitte & Patrick who speak French & English.
