Indulge in what nature can bring you. The large windows make you feel like you are already outside. Mind you we have chairs and a hammock for your leisure outside. Breakfast is usually served outside as well. We want you to feel in peace with nature. Double size bed.
Relaxation. This is what you get when you enter this home by the lake. There are enough windows to see right through the house. Secluded in a wooded area, you will feel the calm enveloping you. Bring some books or an e-book. If you want to decompress, this is the place to be. You will leave fresh and ready for all life can bring you. There is an hammock in the summer and hopefully some ice skating in the winter.
Very courteous and attentive service and friendly tips on the attractions. A good night sleep.
We are 20 minute drive from the MacDonald Bridge crossing to Halifax. There are no restaurants within two minutes drive. Only one store.
There is a community bus within three kilometers.
Our place is unique as it has won an honorable mention in the Architectural Design Awards in 2006. There are not many homes in Halifax that have a room with a glass garage door facing a lake if any.
You should check our Retreat by the Cove for a queen size bed.
The guests have access to a bedroom with double bed and a shared bathroom if there are other guests. It also have access to our kitchen if they want it. We prepare breakfast. Actually, they can roam on the whole first and third floor and get comfortable in any corner of the house. Don't forget the hot tub and the hammock outside.
We love to get to know our guests but respect their privacy. Expect to have a full hot breakfast with your hosts.
