This Georgian former rectory was our family home for seven years; we shared the house with Nanny and Grandad, 3 dogs and 2 cats. The decor is quite eclectic although we have toned everything down to suit guests’s tastes. The 2 acre garden is more of an adventure playground than a horticultural exhibit. There is a croquet lawn, treehouse, vintage caravan and a heated swimming pool in the walled kitchen garden (summer only)
West Norfolk is very rural and somewhat old fashioned, even compared to the rest of Norfolk. The light pollution is very low which means on a clear night the stars are fantastic.
A car is fairy essential for getting around. There’s only one bus a hour to Kings Lynn. There’s plenty of parking on the drive.
