Cozy house hidden from street, surrounded by three yards, trees, birds - beautiful! Close to all transportation (BART, ACE, 580/680). Eco-friendly home.
Lounge in my outdoor spaces (outdoor living room near completion), walk to historic Main St. (cafes, restaurants, shopping, museums, theater, yoga, day spas, farmers' market...)
This is a cozy and comfortable house, but it is small. Sometimes I will have guests in my other room, so we have to coordinate showers and respect privacy and quiet time.
Living room, bedroom, bathroom, outdoor spaces. Off-street parking.

All the rooms in this house are quite small, so when the trundle bed is pulled out in this particular room, there is not a lot of room to, say, practice yoga, for example.
I launder towels once a week, so please use the bar or in the bathroom or the hooks in your room to let yours dry out between uses. California is in a severe drought: using towels only once or twice before laundering wastes valuable water.
Please use the bathmat hanging on the back of the bathroom door.
Please also strive to keep your showers short (under 10 minutes) or seldom (every other day), or turn the water off when soaping up or shaving.
Please use the squeegie provided to scrape the water off of the walls and door of the shower. This reduces build-up in an area where the water is rather hard.
Please close the toilet completely (lid and seat down) before flushing to reduce bacteria swirling in the air.
This is a quiet home and neighborhood, so please look forward to enjoying that. In other words, no partying or loud music. No drugs, and smoking outdoors only. No pets, although my Felix will be happy to give you some fuzzy love, though, if you need a fix.
Finally, note that check-in time is 6pm. If you arrive earlier without confirming with me first, you may arrive to a house that is in transition from a past guest. I am a very busy lady during the school year and in the weeks before and after, so please manage your expectations. My home is clean but lived-in, and if you disregard my requested check-in time, it will not be ready for YOU.
I teach at a high school in Pleasanton and on Saturdays in San Francisco, so my school year weeks are quite hectic. Nonetheless, I know quite a lot about the Bay Area, so I will be able to support you as you navigate traffic and public transportation, as well as where to go to have a nice day or evening.
