Beautifully renovated farmhouse barn with exclusive bedroom loft, queen size bed, private barn entrance and private bathroom. Enjoy great sunset views over stone walls and gentle hills, relax in the lounge and play a game of pool or listen to old records. We have few farm animals including sheep, chickens, and a dog. We are 20-30 minutes from amazing beaches, including Ogunquit, Wells and Kennebunkport, as well as many nature trails and retail shopping outlets.
You will have a large sunny bedroom, with a queen bed and beautiful bathroom. There is also a lounge with amazing views (especially at sunrise), pool table, darts and foosball. You can also listen to some vintage records while you relax after a fun day outdoors. An electric water heater is available, as well as tea and coffee. Our water is filtered from our well, so please enjoy it directly from the faucet.
You will enter and exit through the big barn doors and go upstairs to your private room passing by the lounge. We have a nice back yard with hanging hammocks and some farm animals. There is also a very nice hill to climb and enjoy the views.
Of course I 'd be glad to help and show you where to go to the beaches, to shop, to dine, or simply explore the many attractions of this region.

I am a native french, retired sculptor/painter and french teacher. I lived a great part of my life in west Africa and France. My husband John is a skilled carpenter who renovated our old farm.We have 2 ewes , 2 german sheppards ( I can't live without) and a bunch of chicken. I spin and use the shetlands wool, do my maple sirup , jams and make our bread. I have the reputation of being a good cook . I love being here away from the cities and their pollutions of all sorts and noises, here it is very silent, very peaceful. I have been successfully helping many kids go on exchange stays in French families and vice versa. I love nature. poetry, and I am very committed to women's issues, fighting racism and inequality.
may be one of my life motto can be " creating bridges."
