Translation from German to English: Bradford is a typical place for Yorkshire - for art fans: David Hockney was born there. In Cartwright Hall is an exhibition and an even better one in Salts Mill, a few miles further. From there you can easily reach Haworth (home of the Bronte-sisters) and for example York or Malham in the Yorkshire Dales. For those that want to get to know England: Irene owns in that region a very typical English row house, the furnishing is very pretty with a little Indian flair - look at the pictures. Irene is an absolutely lovely woman and a very good host. The house is located in a quiet area and the mattress on the bed is very comfortable. Irene gives very good advice for tours in the environment and you can have really good conversations with her. Irene is a widely travelled woman. Each morning, Irene prepares a lovely breakfast, vegetarian, with great fruit salad and home made English toast with butter and home made marmalade. Her dog Jessie is also friendly and very lovely. Thanks, Irene, we will surely come back to Bradford.
