Modern-looking, ligt and bright new apartment in a recently built apartment complex. The apartment is situated at the city docks and is only 10 minutes away from the central station/city centre and popular 'Jordaan' area.
Stunning views of the populair buildings the Pontsteiger and A'dam Toren.
I live here myself, so my personal belongings will be staying in my apartment. Which will make you feel like home :-) It will give you a REAL experience of living in the beautiful Amsterdam.

You'll be staying at my brand new 48 m2 apartment (4th floor). I moved in here 4 years ago when they finished building it. Practically all furniture is newly bought. Stating the obvious: same goes for the bathroom and kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with induction plates, an oven/microwave combination, large fridge and freezer, dishwasher, nespresso machine and water boiler. As you can see in the pictures, there's a counter with 4 crutches to enjoy a lovely dinner at. I also have a wireless bluetooth sound system for some nice background (!) music.

I live near a few very cool areas with a lot of shops, bars, restaurants and a supermarket a few hundred meters away. One of the hotspots i like to go to is 'Karaat'. Really cool spot to enjoy a nice coffee or lunch, it's open all day (2 minutes walk). You will also be only a 15 minute walk (or a 5 minute bike ride) away from the popular 'Haarlemmerstraat', which is one of Europe's most beautiful shopping areas with lots of nice little stores, a bit of vintage and lots of guild stores. Really typical for this city and worth checking out.
One of Amsterdam's bigger parks, the 'Westerpark' is right within walking distance, so if you like picnicking or barbecuing that's where you should go to chill out and meet some new people. Also, in spring and summer there are a lot of events that take place in the Westerpark. When the weather's less peachy, you can enjoy a nice morning jog or just check out the sights.
The famous 'Jordaan' area is 10 minutes by bike (you can rent one very close by) or public transportation. The Jordaan is undoubtedly the most sung about, romanced town district in Amsterdam. You can find many typical Amsterdam bars over there that will give you a real authentic taste of our beautiful city. You can also find the famous Anne Frank house in this area.
The cool thing about living right at the docks (apart from the view) is that you can easily take the ferry to the NDSM dockyard. Lots of festivals there in summer and in winter you can cross over to visit one of the big flea markets in one of the big buildings over at the dockyard.
