We live in a little village in a beautiful part of the French Pyrenees. Our home is comfortable, spacious and elegant, surrounded by wonderful countryside ideal for hiking and cycling. Indeed, the Tour de France usually passes beneath your bedroom windows. We are well situated on the Chemin de Saint Jacques with many other footpaths radiating from our front door. The river running through the village is well stocked with trout and we are more than happy to organize a fishing permit if you wish to catch your supper.
We are offering a pretty room with guest bathroom and tea making facilities. When you rise we provide the perfect continental breakfast of coffee, croissants, toast and homemade jams, although if you prefer a more hearty hikers breakfast then that can be arranged.
We are fortunate that the village has two small shops, a bar and restaurant. Also, we are keen cooks and can offer a delicious evening meal for 25€ per person (four courses, carafe of wine and coffee), although of course there are several good restaurants in the area.
The bathroom is stocked with fluffy towels, slippers, shower gel and locally produced soap. We also offer a 'book swap shelf' so you can update your holiday reading.
We love our home and village and are certain that you will too.
Guests are free to use the kitchen for preparation of snacks and drinks. The drawing room is a lovely spot for a quiet read, and if the evening is chilly you can sit in front of the open fire, but most people prefer to sit in the sunny garden for as long as possible.

Please note that we are not Saint Lary-Soulan, so there are no nightclubs and few shopping opportunities. We do occasionally get confused skiers wandering around.
No smoking in the house but you are free to smoke in the garden.
We generally play it by ear as to interaction. You are free to come and go as you like. If you stay for dinner then you can either choose to eat with us or just enjoy a quiet meal in our elegant dining room. If it's a special occasion let us know.
We are a happy couple living a quiet life in the Pyrenees. Patrick is French and Bryan is English.
