A cozy, colorful spot with everything you need to have a peaceful and relaxing vacation.
We do allow pets; dogs only. Smoking of any kind is outdoors only.
Please read the entire description of "The Space."

Welcome to our tranquil, sunny, sweet spot in the beautiful Eldorado Springs Valley, just minutes south of Boulder. Gorgeous views and nature surround you, from horses in the pasture next door to the local wildlife, such as deer, fox, and owl.

This special place has its own unique character and all the comforts of home. It is private and very quiet at night. You can see the stars.

The 375 square foot abode has a kitchen with a lovely view, a small gas cooking range, fridge, microwave, and other kitchen essentials. Light cooking is recommended since it's a compact space, and has a small sink too. The bedroom has a queen pillow top bed, dresser, cable TV, DVD player, and a large picture window with a beautiful view from the bed.
The bathroom is quite spacious for a small space, although the shower is a bit smaller than standard size. A living room area has a love seat and a small desk. There is a comfy, foam floor mattress for a third guest. Wireless internet access, with a small patio and parking right in front. Note that the wifi is spotty. It works best in the front; please let us know if you need some help getting online during your stay.

We also have other listings on the property, the Awesome Reinvented Blacksmith Shop (it's in the same building but does not share a wall with the abode), the Eldorado Valley Artist Cabin and the Sunny Eldorado Retreat. It's a fun, relaxed place to stay.

A fantastic trail system is about a mile away, heading west on Eldorado Springs Drive, which you can drive or walk to. Enjoy hiking, running, mountain biking, cross country skiing and snowshoeing, depending on the season. Two miles down the road from here is Eldorado Canyon, which features Eldorado State Park where hiking, world class rock climbing and scenic vistas happen. Also located in the canyon is the Eldorado Springs Pool, a wonderful artesian spring fed pool, so refreshing and fun in the summertime. Downtown Boulder seems a world away, although it is actually a 10 minute drive. There are bike paths all the way into town.

Food shopping is close; King Soopers and Lucky's are about five minutes away. Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, and many other markets are also a short drive into town. At our intersection, a mile away, is the Eldorado Corner Market which includes a gas station/convenience store and a liquor store.

We are both artists and our home and studio are on the property. Feel free to come by anytime during your stay to chat and visit. We know a lot about the area and can help with ideas about things to do. We'd love to have you as our guests!

Continue on Eldorado Springs Drive and turn right onto Prado Drive, then take the second right onto the driveway. The driveway is circular with a large tree in the middle. Parking is directly in front of the abode; pull straight up to the sun sign (in between the white garage doors. There are two 'apartments' in the building (they don't share a wall); the abode is the one on the right, nearest to the wooden fence. Remove shoes inside by the front door. Orthopedic shoes can be worn inside. 10 pm to 7 am are quiet hours. No late checkout; I have a four listings and a high volume of reservations. Please ask about having guests over. This is the second time I have stayed at an Airbnb on Susan and Tom's property. Just like the first time, the space was clean, beautiful, and welcoming. It's also a truly lovely location, and I'm grateful my dogs are welcome there. I'd recommend this spot to anyone looking to stay on the Boulder/Denver front range, but also appreciates being a bit out of town where it's quiet and peaceful.

The Abode was exactly what I was looking for in a location: secluded, with stunning views of the Flatirons, and close enough to stores and local businesses. Susan was so sweet and very accommodating. Overall, an amazing experience!

This was just what we needed for our trip. We had a place to sleep, shower, and make our instant breakfast. Susan and Tom both welcomed us within minutes of our arrival. The location provided a very nice "back door" to Boulder as well as a fantastic scene of the moon setting behind the mountains.

Absolutely loved the abode. It was perfect for my husband and I. Susan was so helpful with directions getting there and was flexible with our late flight and check in. It was clean and comfortable. Little notes left around the house made it easy to find what we needed and made it more personable. There were lots of maps and visitor guides that we took advantage of. Necessities were stocked on the shelves just in case we forgot something. The view is to die for. I would highly recommend the abode to anyone wanting to stay near Boulder/Denver.

Susan's "abode" was wonderful. We stayed for one week and it was exactly what we needed. Very close to great hiking and Boulder, and just a short drive to/from Denver, Red Rocks, Rocky Mountain National Park, etc. I would definitely stay here again!

Susan Kullanıcı ProfiliSusan bir süper ev sahibi.

I am a self employed artist and have lived in this beautiful valley since 1991, with my husband, Tom, who is a ceramic artist, teacher at a local community college, and a musician.
In the past, we spent a lot of time on the road, doing art shows with our two sons, who grew up here.
I have done a lot of traveling and enjoy meeting people from all over. One of the most memorable experiences of my life was when I lived in Italy for close to a year while I was in college in the early '70's. Part of the time I lived with an Italian family in Tuscany whom I adored. I would love to return there someday.
Some of the things I enjoy are being active in the outdoors and at the gym, cooking fun and healthy foods, growing vegetables and herbs, beekeeping, dancing and playing the cello. I love to read and collect all kinds of books, including novels, non-fiction and cookbooks. One of my favorite books is The Infinite Plan, by Isabel Allende.
We have had visits in our home with many guests from all over through the years, and it has been good times. I have learned to be open to having adventures and being spontaneous. My most memorable times have not involved much planning or expense.
