The location was lovely and the studio was modern inside. The good points were the kitchen which was quite well equipped, and the parking just outside was great too. However, unfortunately we did have some problems. The wifi was non existent and, being on a business trip (which I had told Julie before booking) not having an internet connection as advertised caused a bit of an issue as we also missed an important (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) call, and Julie's response was not helpful. The next issue was the sofa bed- it was really uncomfortable with a very thin mattress and we could feel the metal bars digging through. The final problem was the shower, which was fine for a little while but went cold after a few minutes in the morning. Aside from the problems, the studio is very nice inside- lots of natural light and nicely furnished, with lots of nice little touches. Julie was helpful with communication and flexible with arrival time. It's a shame that the few issues we had ruined our stay for us.

Clean, well kept and very well stocked self-contained room, Julie very clear in her directions, nicely furnished (Velux windows, proper shower) and happy with the place overall

Pleasant stay in a picturesque, rural setting. The room had everything I needed with a great shower. Also a short drive from wrest park.

Beautifully clean with a well equipped kitchen which made the perfect weekend get away. Julie was really flexible with our check out time which really helped us. Would definitely stay again.

Studio autonome très pratique, calme avec une belle lumière zénitale due aux vélux. Parking sécurisé. Jolie décoration. Equipements de qualité. Douche très confortable. Julie a mis à notre dispositions fruits, pain, petits pots de confiture etc. Elle nous a indiqué ou trouver des produits bio et est restée très discrète durant tout notre séjour. Le lieu permet des promenades à pied. Le quartier est tranquille et fleuri, proche des champs et balades. Atmosphère générale très agréable.

Andrea as usual was welcoming and helpful, cant fault it really . Reliably clean place to stay.

A really beautiful house in a great location with lots of lovely walks to go on, as well as pubs and restaurants nearby. The house was extremely clean and well presented with everything we needed and more. Overall highly recommended for a chilled weekend away in the countryside!

A lovely clean spacious warm house. Fantastic in the summer I would imagine. We enjoyed our stay and Richard was very accomodating..even leaving some prosecco which was a lovely touch

We booked this house for my mothers 65th. We chose it based on it being the central point between where we all live. We wanted a house that could accommodate 6 adults and 3 children. The house is spacious and quirky in its decor. We all really loved the style!!! The garden is well equipped and the kids loved the chickens. The location is quiet with a good local pub a minutes walk away and some great woodland walks just 5 minutes away. It was perfect for us and I would recommend. Richard the owner made it clear we could call him with any issues, but we didn't have any. I would recommend highly. Neil & Tammie

Had a great couple of nights here. Sharing the space between 3 couples and 2 young kids. The space worked well with large living area to relax. The 2 year old kids loved playing with the toys. We had a nice little walk to the local town. Thanks to Richard and family for letting us borrow your lovely home.

We spent a wonderful weekend at Richard's for my mum's 60th Birthday. Great communication throughout. The open plan kitchen, dining and living area was a fantastic space to relax, eat and play games with the family. Cooking on the Aga was a joy! Being pet friendly was a great bonus meaning we could bring our dogs and walk over to the plantation nearby. The chickens in the garden and cows in the field behind make you very much feel like you're n the country - would like to make more of the garden if we returned in the summer. Would thoroughly recommend!

This was a fantastic venue for a group of old friends with kids. The house is so homely and inviting. We loved the chickens in the garden - the kids loved looking for fresh eggs (some even got into the house...!). Location wise - 20 min walk or short drive to a village with pubs and restaurants, plus a lovely woods close by. We throughly enjoyed staying here - it was perfect for us.

Me and my partner had the best time in jeff and Debbie's house, it has been the best place we have stayed in, the house is beautiful and has everything there already for you, it is very spacious and homely, with a massive lounge, with lovely fire place and fish tank, and beautiful view to the garden and jacuzzi out of the patio doors, bedroom was big with a big ensuite and balcony, we just couldnt get enough if the house, as it is soooo much nicer and bigger than what you can see on the pictures, The jacuzzi is lovely and relaxing and one of the best features of the house. jeff and Debbie were very welcoming and showed us around soon as we arrived, Overall we would definitely recommend this place, and we will definitely return back ourselves, as it was one of the best times we've had..thankyou..... My friends and I had a superb long weekend (EMAIL HIDDEN)munication with Debby was fantastic throughout and Jeff was there to meet us when we arrived and showed us the workings of the house. They kindly provided a number of basics (bread, milk orange juice etc) as well as a delicious cake that was well received! The terrapins were fascinating for the kids in the group and the adults thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub! Our group ventured to the local pub (The Sugarloaf) which does not look much from the outside, but the landlord and the locals could not have been more accommodating and friendly! We would all recommend Jeff & Debby's place in the heartbeat!

Jeff & Debby's house is beautiful. Jeff was there to welcome us when we arrived and show us around. They kindly added the boxing to the Sky Box Office and left us with cakes, a few necessities in the fridge and a bottle of Prosecco! We spent the majority of the weekend in the hot tub and finding the various homes for the turtles which were a great touch! Would recommend to groups of all ages and really does stand out from the rest.

Absolutely incredible place! Jeff and Debbie are amazing, very warm and welcoming. They collected us from the train station, and took us to various places in the vicinity which was above and beyond their call of duty. Their house if just beautiful, the pictures do not do it justice. I will be coming back here again as three nights were not nearly enough. Thank you both for a very memorable weekend.

We had a lovely time. More than enough room to house 8 adults and two children. Debbie and Jeff were very warm and welcoming so it was an incredibly relaxing break. A huge garden and couple of lovely pubs just a short ride away to boot! We would definately return!

We had an amazing weekend! The house is absolutely gorgeous and homely! we had everything we needed to a fun filled weekend celebrating our friends 30th birthday! The weekend definitely exceeded our expectations- the gourmet meal was a lovely touch and the food exceptional – many thanks to Debbie and Jeff for hosting us they went above and beyond to ensure we had a good weekend! I will be recommending this place to all my friends and I will be hoping to go back for a visit soon!

We just had the best long weekend break ever in this place. We were 3 couples - each had our own bedroom and privacy which is ideal. The house itself is huge! Two storey's, so spacious and has everything you could need from a docking station to the biggest flat screen for the guys to watch the football on! On the ground floor you have a fantastic kitchen, a conservatory, a dinning room a very large lounge and a more private lounge for chilling out in. Outside is bliss with a lovely clean outdoor spa pool,large back section with two football goal post either end, a trampoline and a splash pool for those daring enough to jump in! I couldn't recommend this place highly enough!
