You can visit in daytime and then move down to the beach for good fish and swimming. Or if you are in Limassol in July, you can attend the International Ancient Greek Drama Festival which takes place there.

Petro's Cafe in particular is a good spot to enjoy standard Cypriot breakfast. Decent food served by very nice people. For a more contemporary salad and sandwiches place, go to HE (Hlektrika Eidi), for definitely refined food.
