Some of our favourite recommendations

Check their opening times. Healesville is still semi-rural and sometimes, they like to go fishing!
Only 2 streets away. Our advice - get there early and head straight for the parrots. They will be hungry and waiting to come to your hand for a feed. Watch for the 'keeper' times. That's when you see the animals at their best and hear from the keepers. You will need time. There's a lot to see.

Part One of a suggested day roaming: Breakfast

A day eating and drinking in Healesville according to Mary and Adam [leave the car behind or have a designated driver] - Start with breakfast at MLK - our favourite cafe in the main street. Most cafes are awesome so you really can’t go wrong. - Wander the shops heading west. Follow the walking trail and end up at Four Pillars. Stop at Peyton and Jones across the road, Number 7, wander around to Watts River Brewery. Some of these venues have live music.
