This is a restaurant at 50 meters from the apartment which I recommend if you don't want to go too far out for a nice meal. Italian restaurant with a good variety of (large) dishes and not too expensive.

A couple of recommended places to visit in Stockholm
A nice viewing point on the Northern side of the Södermalm island. Great for a walk in either summer or winter. In the summer bring your own drink or snack and find a nice bench to enjoy the sun and view!

If you like walking and want to see the green part of Stockholm, this is the place to go. It is the biggest island within the city and you can find most musea on this island. One of them is Skansen, which is the open air museum with typical Scandinavian houses where people in traditional clothing will tell you about the history of Scandinavia. There are a couple of nice places for a "fika" (coffee break) as well.

Take the ferry from the centre of Stockholm and be within 50 mins on the island of Vaxholm. During the boat trip you will see the archipelago of Stockholm where all the locals spend their weekends away in their second home. Vaxholm is a small town/island with typical Scandinavian style houses. There is also a fort to visit.

Grinda is a bit further out in the Archipelago and will take more than 2 hours by ferry to get there. The ferry is leaving from the centre in Stockholm. It is less touristic than Vaxholm and has a lot of nature on the island to walk around. There is a nice restaurant/hotel on the island to either have lunch or even stay overnight.
