Very close to the apartment. Revisited fast food classic, cooked by a chef. Of course you can find poutine there. Good and inexpensive, great 50's decor, good music (Québécois classics).
Très près du logement, un incontournable. Inspiré du fast food américain classique, mais revisités par un chef; bon et pas cher. On y trouve bien sûr de la poutine. Décor années 50 et bonne musique (souvent des classiques Québécois).

Best bakery around. Their bread is just amazing, and you can buy it by weight. Excellent croissant, and the must-buy Cruffins (croissant filled with pastry cream with different flavors).
Meilleure boulangerie du coin. Le pain est excellent et on peut l'acheter au poids. Les croissants sont très bons, et il faut absolumen essayer leurs cruffins (croissants remplis de crème pâtissières à différentes saveurs).

Free outdoor pool, right on the side of the Saint-Charles River, surrounded by trees and plants. Very good atmoshpere and perfect for the very hot summer days. Deck chairs for sunbathing. Also a small adjacent outdoor bar.

The linear Saint-Charles River Parks is easily accessible from the apartment. It is a long trail (bike trail and foot trail) on the side of the river. Great way to enjoy greenery in the area, or to travel to different areas of Québec city without going through the streets. Perfect for jogging lovers. Land art on some portions of it.
Le parc linéaire de la rivière Saint-Charles est facilement accessible à partir de l'appartement. Sentiers pédestres et pistes cyclables qui longent la rivière, excellente façon de faire le plein de verdure, de se déplacer entre différentes parties de la ville et parfait pour les amateurs de jogging.
