- City hall is my favorite building in the city, and it’s on Kungsholmen! You get there by bus 3 towards Södersjukhuset, otherwise its like a 20 minute walk. I would recommend walking from the apartment to Rålambshovsparken and then walking by the water at Norr Mälarstrand to get there, it’s really beautiful. I would recommend getting a tour there during weekends to get inside the magnificent building, and to go up to the tower, it can be fully booked though.
o Other beautiful houses on Kungsholmen are Rådhuset (the local court), Landstingshuset (the regional parliament house).

If you want to save time and still enjoy it there’s a boat run by the company Strömma that will take you to Fjäderholmarna in 30 minutes from Nybrokajen. This is the closest island in the archipelago. Book tables on Fjäderholmarnas Krog or Rökeriet
