Entertainment
A funky boutique theatre in the middle of Arrowtown township. Latest films from Hollywood and all over the world. Very comfortable seats and wine and snacks available from the counter. There's a bookstore in the foyer too.

Walks
Tobins Track starts about 10 minutes walk from my place, downhill and over the Arrow River. It is quite steep but is a very well formed track, about 45 mins walk for someone of beverage fitness will take you to stunning views across the Wakatipu Basin.

Places you should see near Hamilton Way
Arrow River is a gorgeous small river that gives Arrowtown it's name, and was the source of the gold that Arrowtown was built on. There's excellent walking tracks on both sides and picturesque bridges. Great for a picnic, for a swim in summer (it's cold though!) or for a gentle walk or a run around the tracks. Just walk downhill from my place and you'll hear, then see the river within 10 minutes.

Just walk downhill from my place and you'll hear, then see the river within 10 minutes.
Food scene
The closest cafe to your accomodation, an easy 12 minute walk. Good coffee and their sticky buns are to die for. Large garden outdoor seating area, great for kids.
A local favourite for breakfast or lunch. Excellent coffee and an imaginative, globally influenced, locally sourced menu. I highly recommend the Turkish Eggs.

Family Activities
Great fun if you're a skier, snowboarder or neither! All equipment is available for hire up the mountain. If the timing is ok with my work I can give you a lift up there too.
It's a surprisingly short drive, about 20 minutes from your accomodation up to Coronet and well worth it just for the view or to watch the snow sports or mountain biking even if you don't partake. There's a good canteen and cafe up there too.
I have a toboggan you are welcome to borrow as well.
