A rocky path running along the side of the temple leads to a huge cluster of rocky cliffs, locally known as Chauli ki Jali. The cliffs hang out to the deep valley below making it a spectacular location that offers fascinating view of the Himalayan ranges and the Kumaun Valley. Just sit quietly looking at the valley and the horizon, indulge in adventure sports or observe Himalayan birds; this is the place where you can easily spend the day alone. The location and the rocky cliffs make this place ideal for activities like rock-climbing, zip-lining and rappelling. The cliffs overlook the forested valley and thus provide a perfect spot to wildlife enthusiasts for observing raptors like the Himalayan eagle and other scavengers as they prey.
